I recently stayed at the Budget Hotel at 14,15, Meeran Sahib Street, Mount Road, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, close to the casino, and easy to get to. The room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made for a pleasant stay. If you are looking for budget accommodation in the heart of Chennai, this hotel is a good choice.

One of the Best Budget Hotels in Chennai. When I came for a programme, I booked a room for two days. The accommodations are comfortable and Safe. I am happy with the help of the receptionists, they are still available at night. I would advise Mallika Residency to anyone looking for an affordable and clean hotel in Chennai.

One of the best Hotels in Chennai near Apollo Hospital, and the staff are good and polite behaviour. A good hotel at a reasonable price. if anyone is new to Chennai then staying here is a safe and better option.

The location is perfect for tourists as it is located in the heart of Chennai, the beach and metro being quite near. The hotel had great in house amenities. It was neat and tidy, the staff was courteous. It's a great option for people who are on a budget. I would definitely recommend this place to any group of people be it tourists or businessmen.

As the name indicates it is a budget friendly hotel with good quality rooms single, double and family rooms with AC and Non AC rooms.
Food is also available at rooms as per order with extra payment.
Rooms costs around 500rs, 700 rs, 850 rs, 950 rs etc as per our own needs.
Only thing is the way to the hotel is very crowded during day time with bike parking and nearby shops. It is located inside a mobile and electronic market full of shops.
Hotels ane also available nearby.
Crown theatre Mount road is the landmark.

I took room no. 104 room is very good but ac is so old and not instant chill

Stayed here to attend an interview at the US consulate. The stay was pleasant with tidy rooms and great room service. Their food at Chennai woodlands was good. Hotel staff were kind enough to direct me to the consulate. You can also visit the beach which is less than a km away from the hotel. Theatres, beach and chepauk stadium are closeby at walkable distance. Budget friendly hotel.

We stayed here during our visit to Apollo hospital on Greams road which is at minutes distance from this hotel. We checked in at late hours and the hotel staff were extremely polite. The rooms were neat and tidy. We also had breakfast in Chennai woodlands. As we weren't aware of the exact route, the hotel staff arranged for a taxi for us to go to the hospital and was surprised that they only charged the nominal rate. The hotel is also very close to Marina beach which is quite popular in Chennai. If you are looking for a decent budget friendly hotel I would highly recommend.

“Big room, amazing comfort.”

This hotel is a lovely surprise as we got luxury for the only the fraction of the price. My mother is very fussy especially when it comes to the comfort of the bed and size of the room, but thankfully she was really pleased with the overall experience of the stay. The star feature of this hotel is definitely the reasonable price( it could be due to the excellent offer we managed to snatch prior booking) and the size of the rooms. Big thumbs up :)

Stayed March 2013, travelled with family

One of the best budget Hotel in Chennai. The Hotel Authority arrange all necessary steps. They provides fresh linens, News paper, towel also but the internal weather is very hot. Room service (Mr.Suresh ) is very good. The lift service and quality mineral water can be improved.

Definitely suggest the place for a budget friendly party hall in good condition. The space is elegant and well maintained. Guests were treated with care and patience by the friendly staff. It's quite difficult to find a party hall in the heart of the city at such affordable costs.
