Had a great experience at the VAC. Staff is very polite and humble. The process is very smooth managed by the VFS team and gets done in 20 mins for single person if you have all the mandatory documents.

Great service, once you carry all the documents as per the checklist the process is done in 20 mins from verification to biometrics. Very polite and helpful staff members. Overall had a very good experience at VFS.

i had hypoglycemic shock while i was in the VFS for submission of my documents, the staff was so kind ,Mrs Rao, Mr parab, Ms shelar, security officer Mr naik and two senior male staff members took excellent care of me, gave me a juice , did all the documentation and formalities on my behalf and booked me an ambulance for admission i to VN Desai hospital.

Important points for Sri Lankan visiting VFS Mumbai or any Other Indian VFS offices
------------------------------------------

1. You won't be able to book VFS appointment in India using a Sri Lankan bank card. You may need to get an Indian friends support for this.

2. Better to go to VFS Delhi office which has a short processing time as it is closer to the Denmark Embassy.

3. Since you need to take back the passport with you, make sure you bring a colour copy of the whole passport (cover as well)

4. When a decision is made on your application, you need to come back to the same VFS office to get the stamping done. I checked if I can do this at VFS Chennai (which is a saving in terms of traveling) but VFS Mumbai confirmed that I must visit the same place where I submitted the form.

Update: As I was from Sri Lanka, I faced some challenges with getting visa stamping as I had to hand over the passport to VFS Chennai. They won't give a single document saying that you have given your passport to the VFS. So, I don't recommend giving the passport to VFS Chennai or any other places. So, best approach would be to reach out to the Denmark embassy in Delhi and go there directly. You can take your spouse and children passports as well. You must have a letter from spouse that she/he confirm to hand over the passport to the husband or wife. Also, make sure that you have original and copies of documents that showing the relationship between you and the persons of other passports (ex: marriage certificate and birth certificates of children). You can get talk to Denmark embassy and get an email to visit the embassy for visa stamping. Take a print out of that email as well. Once you go there in New Delhi, it is very simple process. It will maximum take 30 minutes to get the stamped passport. I got my wife's passport through this process.

4. Keep colour photos with you.

5. Keep copies of other important documents such as marriage certificate with you.

6. Get a confirmation from Denmark embassy in New Delhi about your (Sri Lankan) application submission in India. That will help VFS Staff to process the application and biometric soon. Also, VFS team will include this document in the files to be sent to Denmark embassy.

About VFS Denmark in Mumbai

1. Located at a central point in Mumbai.
2. Easy accessible through Uber
3. Better to visit the place little early, because the traffic is unpredictable
4. The office itself very nice. But surrounding was dusty.
5. Don't fall into scams of three wheel drivers and Xerox places
6. Very supportive staff.
7. Pratik helped us to process our applications very smoothly.
8. Since we are a special scenario, he supported us to keep everything in line with Denmark embassy requirements.
9. Security was sometimes annoying. They are doing their job nicely with all the difficult circumstances. Make sure you have the VFS appointment letter always with you.

General about Room booking in Mumbai

1. Lot of fake reviews in hotel bookings.
2. I stayed at a small hotel named 'Hotel Ariana Residency' which was 30-45 mind drive to VFS.
3. Make sure that you know basic hindi 🥹 Hard to find English speaking general people.

Well the process is pretty simple it hardly takes 5 min I took premium lounge service had uploaded all documents online no extra fees were charged and the whole process was flawless

Very fast service. Was in and out in 20 minutes without paying anything extra except locker charges 200 rupees due to my laptop. Overall very satisfied with the experience. Hoping to get the Visa at the earliest.

Super professional n courteous staff even for standard application. Very quick processing of UK Visa and wheelchair was also accessible. Mobile phone were allowed to carry.

Booked an 8.45 AM appointment for UK visa.
Reached at 8.15, got admitted inside the building immediately. All documents scanning and biometrics was done by 9 AM.

They have a locker facility available for laptops, pendrives, bags etc. for 200 INR per hour.

Bought the privilege premium lounge services for two visit in 3100 rs, have to use in a year. The lounge is amazing with lots of amenities peaceful and we'll maintained. Offers tea, coffee and some snacks. No need to wait for documents submission of you buy the service. Worth it

I visited VFS Global for MEA Attestation of some documents. The Service was prompt & very quick. The staff is very engaging and very courteous too. Overall had a good experience here.
Note: MEA attestation fees during that time, I paid by cash as they were not accepting any card payments so keep that in mind.
The attestation process took around 5-6 working days and then was delivered within the same period.
Some MEA Attestation would also require the state attestation for few documents. So just keep that in mind, you can do it by yourself by visiting the state's home department or by giving it to some 3rd party agents (VFS do for some states).

Well organized center.
You have to take an appointment online via the VFS website and then land up there at the corect time.
Laptops and bulky items like big bags are not allowed inside, but there is a locker on the ground floor to keep you bags
After a security check, they send you upstairs to the 3rd floor, where you submit your documents.
The agents there are helpful, but quite strict about all documents required, so make sure you bring all documents.
There is a photo copy machine in there, but quite expensive to use. (I think it was 50Rs per page)

I had travelled to this VFS center directly from the Mumbai Airport in an uber at 8am, and it took me around 30 mins to reach there, and another 30 mins in an uber to go back to the airport
