Shree Suvarna Temple

Peaceful place amongst the busy streets of Mumbai. 😇 Everyone in the temple was so co-operative and helpful as I visited the temple for the first time they guided me so well around the temple. It has been a great spiritual experience I would never forget. The Naag Abhishek is performed every Sunday and it feels so divine, witnessing the Abhisheka and the Maha Aarti followed after that. It's a must visit temple I'd really recommend for people seeking spiritual experiences in their lives.

Loved this place the most. It is located next to powai lake panch kutir. This is ancient South Indian temple. You should meet naag baba to know your future and resolve your current problems

A Beautiful Temple which is also very old, Located off the Jogeshwari-vikhroli link rd opp IIT Powai Campus. The place is very calm and quiet contrary to the noisy street outside. There are multiple small worship areas of various deities inside the Temple area. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. The place is a very good spot to spend some quality time for one's self anytime of the day. Parking for a few vehicles is available inside the temple premises but if that is not available u can park the car in the street behind the temple which is narrow but mostly empty on normal days. On festive occasions it is recommended to either reach early or take a cab or public transport as finding the place to park your car can be a difficult job.

This is one of the oldest temple in Powai just few kms away from IIT Powai. Suvarna Temple is also known as Nine mother children temple is indeed a unique temple in its own. Located amidst the beauty of Powai this temple has lot of serenity and calm. The ‘Nine Mother Children’ temple is one of the oldest holy places in Powai. This temple was evolved in 1957, but the prathista and other ritual ceremony were performed on 1963. Here you can find all the almighties from all the communities-Hindus, Muslim, Chirsten. So the restriction is not imparted on any caste to enter inside the premises. Here all the caste and religion are treated one and the same.

Just recently visited this temple on the day of Mahashivratri and the celebrations were made with hustle and bustle. The crowd was eagerly waiting to seek the blessings of the idol. Even the tiniest of work was being executed with the volunteers leaving no stone unturned to continue with the celebrations in the late hours of midnight! Sharing some photos of the grand night.

A south Indian theme temple. Main temple is of Naag Devi. More over idols os God Ganesh, Hanuman and Shivling and Navagrah are also there. A pious place of worship.

Met Shree Suvarna Baba for 1st time along with his son Shree Jagdish, my wife and Self felt relieved by the Darshan. This Temple has all various idols of God Mainly Navgrah, Shree Hanuman, Nagdevta, Lord Ganesha, Shivling. Quiet surroundings, Thali for Pooja is available with Nominal Pooja fees it's not fixed. Sweccha sey Dey saktey hoo.Parking is outside the temple. Overall It's Vighnaharta Temple. 23rd June, Tuesday.

Lovely Temple in Powai.. ample parking space, great environment and beautiful Idol of Ma Rundamalini. They also have regular event for all festivals and the ambience is very calming, spiritual and peaceful.

One of the most soothing temple around in mumbai. Although it is on highway and a high crowded area, its all calm and positive vibes in there. Blessings from Suvarna baba is an add on. Being a south Indian myself, I was just getting the feeling of being in Mangalore's temple. Looking forward to visit it often.

"One God, One Caste, One Religion" is the best slogan observed in the Temple. Peaceful, serene and divine place. There is a parking place inside the Temple.

The temple is really good. I even got the dinner to eat in form of prasad. Also the brahmins are good.
