Rajarathinam Stadium

I went to that place for volunteering for a program happened there

This stadium is in the heart of the city and is better accessible. There is a big ground in the centre surrounded by athletic running tracks. There are also about 4 galleries for people to sit and watch the events. There is ample space for car and bike parking too. Most schools host their sports day here. The Stadium is mainly used by Tamil Nadu Police for training.

I have worked quite opposite building near the fire station for 3 years. It's a very calm place. Happened to witness the drills for policemen sometimes. It's quite majestic

One of the biggest stadium in Chennai. But now it's size is getting reduced.. opposite to the stadium fruit salad shop will be there,one of the must check out spot, and end of the road famous Balaji bread omlet shop

Running track very super, toilet fesclitey very nice and clean, drinking water is available.

Had facilitation program with shankar jival sir for our volunteer activities on good Sunday evening

Good and decent place for school or college sports events. Maintenance has to be improved for the toilets and parking area.

One of the most beautiful places in Chennai, really wonderful for a walk or jog. It's one of the must see places ok Chennai.

Good Place & a landmark. Not sure if its open to public completely. Cab and Taxi folks may not understand if we mention police quarters, but they can recognize Rajarathinam Stadium easily.

Good facility. Requires continuous upkeeping.

Good place to conduct sports meet

Good place to spend time with kids. clean silent and located in a good location. my kids like to place in the children park there and we see the police parade, school sports events and will never miss to visit the stadium every month.
