The tour was amazing. Siddhi did an excellent job as the tour guide. With his vast knowledge about the caves and Buddhism in general he was constantly providing us interesting information.
Besides the caves and the amazing amount of background knowledge, we saw monkeys in and deers in the park from very close and we could try fruits from the inhabitants of the park which we have never seen before (the palm fruit).
I will definitely recommend Siddhi as a tourgauide and the tour itself!

Rahul and his team are simply amazing. We had the most authentic two days in Mumbai, creating memories we will never forget. The highlight of our trip was the the Dharavi slum tour. Experiencing first hand the challenges of life in the slums, to the incredible entrepreneurial spirit of its people. From plastic recycling plants to bakeries ,clothing and leather operations. Meeting Rahuls family and their tremendous generosity was eye opening.
Rahul and his team have a School program in their office for under privilege kids. We got to meet the kids and talk to them about their dreams and aspirations. Knowing that the proceeds of our tour were going to better the life of the people living in the slums made this tour so much better. If you are in Mumbai the young traveles tours is something you shouldn't miss. We will be back!

Fantastic tour company, built from the ground by young, enterprising Bombayites. Excellent, informative tours. We did Elephanta Caves, Dharavi walking tour and half day City Tour. All guides were knowledgeable, friendly and kind.

Mumbai city tour was a good overview, especially if interested in history and architecture as the guide knew his stuff (ie well versed in history and using that knowledge in all possible moments).

Note this company also will recharge your Indian prepay SIM whether you are home or abroad. I enquired and they helpfully offer the service. I was thinking a very useful service for NRIs / OCI holders with no Indian account or credit card, who need to keep the SIM alive!

Mayor is our tour guide. He is very friendly and has varieties of information about Dharavi, Mumbai and India. Whichever place we visited, he explained every thing in detail. We did a short tour to commercial and residential area. From plastics manufacturing, leather industry to ceramics business. At the end of tour, the manager invited us to his house and gave small gifts to us. It was nice to see the inside of living places as well. Very good and friendly company, highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant. Tailored our private tour to fit in with a very tight schedule. Not only that, but I went back THE SAME DAY for another private tour and saw loads more. What do you see? Better to ask what you don't see. Oh, I'll tell you what you don't see - or, more accurately, what you barely see - poverty. The area is filled with people from all sorts of ethnicity, backgrounds, and income groups. It might be "rough" in places, but there is not much poverty. A hive of industry, friendliness and fascinating sights, sound and smells. An unmissable experience in Mumbai AND...

This was a perfect tour of SG National Park.

Our guide, Rahul, was knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. We slightly customised our day by renting bikes and cycling up to the temples.

Super interesting tour of Dharavi, the unique district of Mumbai you should not miss it! Our tour guide, Mayur enthusiastically explained everything in great detail. We were impressed by his knowledge and the ease with which he spoke English. We were glad we chose this tour operator as it was most professional, easy to communicate with, and very, very friendly. As a bonus we were invited to join a family wedding. We were not able to stay but the memories will stay with us forever.

We did the Dharavi tour with this company. Great tour with a great guide. Our guide Diva spoke really good English without a difficult accent. She was from the neighbourhood herself, so she knew what she was talking about.

Only thing I didn't like, is that the company asked 4 times to write a review about them. But I think this is a cultural thing and still believe they deserve 5 stars!

Had an excellent experience on the Lonavala tour. Kamlesh (your lead) and the driver were conversational and informative. The tour requires a lot of climbing (several hundred steps) and so, it is important that one is wearing the correct footwear. Even though we participated in January, it got rather warm during the noon hour. So, having some head covering is important. Impressive visuals with the cave architecture. Just can’t imagine how this was achieved (without modern engineering equipment).

The best part of our experience with Young Tours & Travel was that it never felt like it was about the business and profit. Rakesh, our guide, was just the nicest guy, and very knowledgeable, too. With him we explored the (in)famous Dharavi slum and Dhobi Ghat, but also Jain temples, authentic street food, and hidden gems of Mumbai. The team of Young was super flexible with times and itineraries. Everything was done for us to have the best possible experience. Last, but not least, the prices are very fair. Overall, I can't recommend these guys enough! Fantastic!

One more thought, as we were initially unsure about visiting a slum. If you go, choose a tour operator who is rooted in the community, like Young Tours & Travel. Go for a reason and with an open mind. This is not entertainment, even though your guides will make sure you're having a good time. Just approach the people with respect and they will open their homes, workshops, and hearts for you.
