It's a great place for a hangout or a date. The ambience is good. The service is good. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food is also great. Their crepes are one of the best in town. Also you'll find some fusion dishes. It didn't suit my taste, however others might like it according to their taste.

Great place to have breakfast or brunch. The Barcelona connection comes from the intention of reducing the people living on the streets (just like Barcelona comparatively to Mumbai) as well as celebrating the Spanish food. Spanish omelette is a must try. The vibe inside is also very aesthetic to Bombay and Barcelona. The people working there are very nice and polite (street boys and girls).

It was an amazing experience visiting Bombay to Barcelona. Their story is inspiring . We were assisted by Robin and it was a pleasure talking with him. Food was quite tasty. I forgot to take pics of all the items I ate. We ate chicken fingers, pesto pasta and gooey chocolate cake. I also had Cortado coffee and it was yum 😋

I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine. In my first visit, there was a group of friends sitting playing guitar and singing songs. I was quickly engergized and was enjoying the good environment.
This place is special for me and in itself... Why? Well, this place is run by a group of street kids and whenever you will go to this place you can know the history behind this cafe and it's name.... People (including me) voluntarily participate in serving other people in the cafe to help the members of the cafe... Whenever I have been to this place I specifically sit near the open kitchen talking to everyone in the cafe, which for me is most relaxing there....
.
We had Veg Coleslaw toast, Alu Chaat (recommended), Penne Arrabiata, Mango Parfait

I love this place for the vibe and hospitality 🫶🏻🫶🏻 I have been here multiple times. Their coffee has always been the same - AMAZING! 😋👌🏻 The food too is good. I loved the White Sauce Penne Pasta and Chicken Wada Pav 😍😋😋😋 I remember my brother loving their tea as well! I recently tried chocolate crepe here but didn't like it much. The ambience is filled with some lovely paintings, books, posters donated by the customers voluntarily. As they help some needy boys to start earning by serving in this cafe, I think their noble work is getting paid off with such token of appreciation from the customers 🫶🏻🫶🏻. Everyone should visit here at least once to help their cause! 🤘🏻

Bombay To Barcelona Library Café, located in Marol, Andheri, Mumbai, is a hidden gem that offers a unique fusion of Indian and Spanish flavors in a cozy European-style setting. What sets this restaurant apart is not just its delectable dishes but also its heartwarming mission.

The moment I stepped into the cafe, I was greeted with the warm aroma of spices and the inviting ambiance of a European-style library. The place is not just a dining spot; it's an experience. The cafe is staffed by street boys and girls who have been given an opportunity to turn their lives around, making it a remarkable social initiative. This gives a sense of purpose to the dining experience.

I started my meal with the cheese garlic bread toast, which was a delightful blend of cheesy goodness and aromatic garlic. The spinach corn toast sandwich was a perfect marriage of flavors, combining the essence of India and Spain. To accompany my meal, I enjoyed a refreshing cold coffee.

What truly impressed me was the in-house clothing store, which adds a unique touch to the cafe. It's heartening to know that the proceeds from both the food bills and the store go towards the education and housing of the cafe's dedicated staff. This makes dining at Bombay To Barcelona Library Café more than just a culinary experience; it's a way to support a worthy cause.

In conclusion, this charming cafe offers not only a delectable blend of Indian and Spanish cuisine but also a heartwarming social cause. The food, atmosphere, and mission of Bombay To Barcelona Library Café come together to create a truly memorable dining experience. I left with a full stomach, a warm heart, and a desire to return soon.

Lovely little cafe-type place to sit with friends, dates, or for working. B2BLC is run by the homeless, and is beautifully well kept. Part of the profit goes into the training, well being, housing & education of the staff.

We went here for a Sunday breakfast, and were helped with the wait staff throughout. Had a great chat with the founder Amin.

Service:
Gopala, who has been here for a while, explained to us how they function with impeccable speaking skills! They helped us with an umbrella right outside - you know they're paying attention to their customers. Food was served quite quickly.

Ambience:
It has a subdued, quaint vibe to it. They've plants all over & are kept very clean overall. The library bit is great. Outdoor seating is comfortable too, with a lot of fans.

Food:
Great quality, simple food. The menu is quite extensive & has a lot of nice options. The mushroom omelette, chicken special sandwich, kokam cooler, and muffins were all good. A little on the salty side though. Taste could improve a bit but nothing to complain here.

The place is not very expensive, especially if you consider the quality of service & the fact that they help their staff on a base level.

It is a wonderful cafe I found in Mumbai. The theme of the cafe is very good.we can shop and read books in the cafe. The story behind this cafe is heart touching. Must visit places. But it's a Little bit expensive. You can enjoy breakfast and dessert. I tried cheese garlic bread which was awesome I have never eaten this kind of garlic bread before. Kindly avoid Monday.

This one's worth a visit for too many reasons. The novelty and the goodwill of the place being the first. Read the picture of the banner I've posted to find out what they're doing.

The service is prompt and hassle free. The staff are courteous and have a smile on their face.
The food is priced right and tastes good. The quantity too is filling.

This is the perfect place to work, have a meeting, hang out with your friends and family, or even just read.

Definitely visiting again when I'm in Mumbai.

Will always remember this place. Went there with my friend years ago in 2017, enjoyed the food and ambience a lot. So relaxing. And met a young designer who had some of her gowns/dresses on display in the cafe. The gown I had her stitch for me is something I still wear to wedding functions and I get many compliments on it's elegance. Lovely concept cafe, I hope it stays in business for many years!

An Undiscovered Gem!
Amazing Taste, Amazing Options and an Amazing Cause.

You can go around spending enormous amount of money in numerous cafes, but if you’ll stop by here maybe you can be a part of a noble cause too.

But don’t consider it a charity, This cafe has an amazing variety and taste as well.

If you can, take one more step to help out their cause.

Very Kind Staff! ✨

Kudos to Mr Amin for doing something we only think of.

As always have a great experience here. It's good if you want a place to talk or work as there's usually no music. While they don't officially state it in the menu, they did make my favourite crepe gluten free when requested. Only issue is it is difficult to get parking outside but the concept and place remain commendable.

Wonderful ambience and staff was very welcoming and gave really good service. Omelette was very tasty. Watermelon juice was fresh n yummy. And the books and instruments are a plus even if you generally aren't a reader you can pick something just for fun and find it quite interesting. I had an amazing brunch time.

First time here but not the last. Everything we tried was fantastic and the gooey chocolate cake hit the perfect note to end a delightful culinary experience. The project that this restaurant supports is so inspiring. Our best to the entire team behind the work and vision.

The Bombay to Barcelona Cafe is a must-visit spot near Marol Naka Metro Station. The cafe's ambiance is beautiful, and the staff is attentive and friendly.

I tried their garlic bread, B2BLC chicken sandwich, and cappuccino and all were delicious and well-prepared.

Furthermore, the cafe has a great collection of books, making it an ideal spot to spend some quiet time with a good book.

Overall, the cafe offers an enjoyable and relaxing dining experience in Mumbai that is highly recommended.
