Hotel Akshaya

Very near to my home and the food quality and taste is good will visit this hotel at least monthly trice, they also sell the side dishes separately like weekly once I buy vada curry 🤣 which goes well with appam! My fav is morning combo breakfast and chilli parrota for dinner. They also serve indo Chinese foods as well..

Ordered podi dosa for breakfast - nice spicy and crispy.
3 types of chutney - white, orange and yellow - all were amazing. Sambar as good as Sangeetha restaurant's.
Quick service with refills. Affordable tasty food.

Also got chilly parotta parcel. Totally yum. It's sometimes given along with veg korma also, but this one is with raita is just of a different level 😍

I happened to visit them on a Saturday night dinner with a moderate crowd. As this was my first time started with Idly and decided to go further on how that tastes. To my surprise Idly was too good and their sambar as well. Next ordered their naan and paneer butter masala combo and this was literally out of the world to be honest. I've attached the photo of it as well 😁. Many hotels in and around serve this combo, having tasted everything I would say with full confidence that Hotel Akshaya serves the softest naan. And lastly tried their Schezwan fried and it was decent and nothing to complain about. The prices were also pretty affordable. Definitely give it a try. You will love it.

Excellent south Indian breakfast like Idli, Vada, Dosa, tea, milk. Very tasty and medium spice level.

Surprisingly inexpensive and charged ₹190 for a fried rice + medu Vadai + Fanta and they are served quickly.

I had tomato rice at Hotel Akshaya, situated in Kodambakkam, Chennai and it tasted so great and natural and didn't cause any stomach upset. I am really satisfied with the hotel and planning to visit again. I see a lot of people liking to come to Hotel Akshaya. Their customer service is superb.

Best place for vegetarian food in this area, handwashing are to be maintained. Rest is fine.

We went there around 2 pm, which is bit late for lunch, still all options were available. Fully followed COVID protocols. We ordered meals, server was very polite and helpful.. got refills of all vegetables.. enjoyed the food. Good simple food and good taste.

The best taste of veg food I have experienced in an affordable cost. I am pure non vegetarian still I loved the authentic taste of this hotel. Must try. Half the price of HSB but tastes a lot more than that.

My go to place for a mild breakfast or Dinner. Their vadacurry is authentic and most of their south Indian food are authentic. They don't have regular south Indian meal for lunch, but instead have north Indian thali. Or your choice of roti with subji. Tasty food, worth the price.

It's one of the best vegetarian restaurant for quality, quantity, price, hospitality and reachability. Situated enroute Power House at Kodambakkam, the only challenge you will have is car parking. That you can mitigate by parking in opposite Street. If you are a foodie looking for South, North and Chinese varieties, don't miss this place. It's where we drop by whenever we are around T.Nagar. Don't mind driving for couple of kilometers from shopping frenzy to good family eatery like Akshaya. Their take away is equally good and sumptuous. Enjoy dining in Akshya.
