Not a A/c Restaurant. But very old hotel and maintains same taste for the past 35 years. Mysore masala Dosa will be very good. I prefer Porata with their own style of karma. I love it.

It was a nice place to visit, The quality of the idly was superb, The masala dosi you can't get it anywhere like this. The fresh parathas with white kurma is a special dish here.. I wish to tell you, you don't get stomach upset issues at all

One of the best vegetarian restaurants for tiffin items. Literally like home cooked food. I have never tried their lunch items, but almost all their tiffin items are very tasty. The restaurant is very small and it is always crowded. Either do a take away or order from Food delivery pirtal.

As I am in the city for a short while, I wanted to make the most of it by visiting restaurants - arbitrarily. One such find was this 60+ years old Udupi restaurant. One of the things to validate authenticity (of Udupi) is to taste the rasam, but since I did not go for meals - I could not.

In any event, I had kichchadi and chola poori. The kichchadi was fantastic! Very tasty. Is it VFM? I don't know. The quantity was enough for my hunger. On the chola poori, the kurma was balanced with all the spice mix. Finished it with a cup of coffee - that was made well too.

Do not look for cleanliness. It was good enough for me to sit and dine.

They have been consistently maintaining the taste of the food. I have been visiting this hotel since 2006 as a child. Most hotels give up on the taste over time. There is a recent strong price hike on the food menu which is inevitable considering the retail inflation and day in day out operating expenses. They have discontinued serving meals after covid instead you get mini meal, variety rice and tiffin varieties during lunch hours. It a household name of Aminjikarai and surrounding areas for South Indian

Ordered Parotta, Masala Dosa and Small sambar idly, All of these @ a cost of 220rs which I hope worth to have for the taste quantity they provide.

I had one parota sambar rice. Just 120rs. Quality is amazing. Taste is really good. Normally I feel bloated wer ever I have kurma but here in this hotel it didn't happen. In kipualk area when compared to guest hotel Krishna bavan I would suggest you guys to visit udupi hotel.

You can happily tip here as the you save on meal rates. Great experience

An old is gold place to check out the variety of veg dishes with the authentic taste. I personally recommend to try those mini-idlies and ghee roast . Don't forget to add coconut chutney which you will absolutely fall far.

Running a vegetarian restaurant for long years a Herculean task. But for more than 50 yrs udipi sankar bhavan running hotel in aminjikarai.Plinth area may be small but quality and quantity maintained along with tempting taste and promptservice.Masala dosa idly vada with sambar chutney varieties are worth eating price appropriate for situation but corona has marred its roaring service. No one in aminjikarai shenoynagar pullareddy avenue, residents at perumal koil st etc relish its yeoman catering service. Parking slight issue. Disable friendly. Restroom upstairs. Some people are really capable and true in their business

This hotel is in my daily visit list. The food is great especially one should try daal idli. The aroma itself gives a positive vibe. Other attractions in this hotel are the idiyappam and vada. The waiters here are very well trained and they justifies the hotel experience. It's a midrange hotel and suitable for middle class individuals. Special thanks to the watchman and the waiter uncle whom I see with smile everyday.

Spacious and good landmark for having food google, all around there is none of good restaurants except this veg restaurant.

Very hygienic place with good service. Had idly and vada and both were excellent with tasty sambar. Highly recommended for a quick and budget friendly meal.

The name describing everything. Softy idli, crispy medu vadai, tasty sambar and rich coffee are the best among their menus. Highly recommended for morning breakfast.
