Udhayam Theatre

The old Udhayam Theatre is located at the prime location, just very opposite to the Ashok Nagar Metro Station. Went for a movie at Mini Udhayam Screen. The ticket price was ₹112 & parking for the bike for a show was ₹30. The mini udhayam screen was really good and the seats were also good. And the sound quality was also good. Sat at E row center for a perfect view. The outer structure of the complex may seem old, which needs to be renovated but the inside of the complex gives a different feel as they have this traditional outlook all over in a wooden theme, which is really good. Didn't try any snacks.

Oldest theatre of chennai in prime location. Udhayam main screen is worth for money. Ticket price costs 100 rs. Seat are cushion but no pushback. Sound and AC are ok. RO water is available. Mini Udhayam screen is ok with small screen, pushback seats are there. Ashok Nagar metro is nearest metro.

One of the old and famous theatres in Chennai is the Udhayam Theatre. There are four screens at the theatre. The seat conditions are ok, but they could be even better if you find a way to improve them. The sound effects are sufficient. The maintenance and cleanliness of the theater is satisfactory. There is a bike parking area. All new movies will be shown here. As a family, we enjoy watching movies here.

The theatre is good but they can improve the washroom much more

That was the first time We went there, as we dint get ticket anywhere.. I loved my first day experience... And it is one of the bests in chennai. You should watch any movie if get some time

Thalaivas first movie was also released here. It has a feel and comfortable seats and the size of the theatre is royal.
Most enjoyable movie watching experience. I watched my daughter's movie 'Rangoli' and loved it!

Udhayam mini I recommended.. it is small in size but good sound speakers and screen picture quality is also good.. recentely watched blackpanther 2 best.. affordable price 50rs is the lowest price ticket to maximun 120rs.

a good ambience for tamil people's and fan celebration is unconditional in this theatre and it's located in ashok pillar,and this theater is easy to reach in bus route also in metro so a good theatre for all kind of sides........

Uthayam one of the best theatre in chennai.
I saw Padayappa movie here in my teenage.
Un reserve ticket very difficult to get here , so much crowd.
Now reservation, online tickets easy to get tickets.
Near kasi theatre available but our choice Udhayam only.
Very easy to reach , it is located koyambedu to Guindy 100 feet road. Now metro station is also available.
Good sound system. Big scrèen .
Service, atmosphere is also good.
