G7 Gaiety Galaxy Movie Theatre

My once in a lifetime experience, Gatey galaxy is a pretty famously known theatre from my parents generation only. And we experienced that 90's and 20's vibe there when we visited there for the very first time for a jailer movie. It's raining and a houseful show, so crowded, people are selling tickets in black outside the theater. We got confused about the screen because they have a completely different layout. Finally we found the screen, the crowd is crazy. Wooden type of seats, fans are there in the theater on the ceiling. The washrooms are smelly and dirty. But after all I just love that totally different vibe like I'm in 90's 🤩

Everything is good except few of cleaning staff during second show, they are always drunk during night. As a tourist, I am always excited to go there because lot of movie reviews are been shot there and the crowd is amazing. Snacks and popcorn are very reasonable price. Location is perfect. Always wait for sharing rickshaw from Bandra station.

5 star just for the food options and affordable prices in the theatre!
Located just beside the western local line, the theatre has vintage look. May it be food stalls, stairs or the cinema hall itself, everything here gives 70s vibes
Although the screen is just at right height compared to the seating arrangement, the seats don't have enough height which might get uncomfortable for a 3 hours long movie
Can't complain much about sound and screen if you are just paying 100/150 for a movie

All in all if you want to watch a mass movie it's THE theatre to visit. If you are used to multiplex screens, you may just want to look for different options.

I started watching the movie at G7 from Pathan,then jailer, then jawan and recently Tiger 3. I must say that this is the best theater to experience. Specially the crowd of this place. I would suggest everyone to visit watch movie in G7 specially when it is of SRK SALMAN or RAJANI.

Its big and beautiful movie theater and great experience of to watching movies and another level you feel by sounds of theater

Favourite theatre from ages, watched more than 200 movies since 2013, huge and easy to reach from station and by walk it takes only 10-15 mins only, nice cafeteria for satisfying hunger during intervals. Economical rates of tickets attract huge crowd every weekend.

Watched pathan movie here and had so much fun! Place was crowded but there security was good they even allow to take your own snacks which is the best thing I liked as you can carry whatever you want to have inside theatre and cleanliness was maintained properly even I just loved the place!

Came to watch jawan just to see the audience response loved it. Will be coming to see tiger 3. Khan's rulling the box office 🔥🔥🔥

Best mutiplex ever.
This is one of the most popular reasonable and oldest multiplex in mumbai.

One of the oldest movie theaters of the city that never sleeps #amchimumbai and even one of the biggest theaters ie gaiety & galaxy. Best place to experience the 90s theater. Till date you can hear those whistles blowing during the entries of the hero's.

Best cinema hall, with pocket friendly. Sound is also good and you can carry out side food to inside the cinema hall.

India's First Mulplex.
Manoj Desai, producer of Khuda Gawah is the owner of these theatres.
Ticket prices are comparatively low.

Best and classic movie theatre it has seven screen sit are very comfortable and size is different per screen almost each and very movie release here... Best part they release Hollywood movies in hindi and it's has one of the best food court and very reasonable there samosa and popcorn was outstanding. This is one of my favourite theater in towm. Must try once you will like 90's but with mordern style.

The ticket is very cheap and this theatre only 100 rupees and if the ticket is sold out you can also buy in black but the price will rise to 150 to 200 the seats are not that quite comfortable the sponge are coming out from the seats but it is good seeing its price.

Yesterday watched Insidious Red Door movie was Thrilling but the backseat people were cheapster Eating gutkha , smoking cigarettes and talking loudly during movie time used bad words.

It's good affordable be it snacks or tickets
But was disappointed as they had fans in galaxy
Out of which some were not even working
Rest it's a best option for movie for people nearby

Great place to visit for an early 90's experience, if you want to experience old age movie theaters it is the best place, not 100% experience but the interior and the seats are like old 90's

Please do not expect the theatre to be like a PVR or Inox. It is a single screen theatre where you’ll get local crowd who will whistling and enjoying each and every dialogue of movie.
