I can definitely say after renovation this place is very good. I literally love it. The seats are very comfortable and spacious. It's nearby to dadar railway station where you can go walking. There was good sound quality and Chilling AC. Overall I must visit this again later. Good Work Done 👍

The renovated theatre was good enough even though it has not been a complete overhaul... Seats were comfy, rates are reasonable as was for the snacks. Chitra remains one of the few cinemas having that old world charm...
Update: That it is 3D compliant is welcome. The toilets are clean too 🙂

New renovated theater is very good , Parking is ample and premises is clean , but food here is too costly who sells Samosa for 50 rs of A1 gurukrupa we get at 18 rs in sion , Food charges should be Revised Rest is good

After a long time I visited her after renovation. Everything is good, I love it. Happy to visit one of my favourite cinema halls.
Only one concern, I was at the seat no DD 15,16 and we found water leaking from AC. if someone from Chitra is reading this, please fix it, rest all good. Nice experience

Nice single screen Theatre , newly renovated , Clean seats

This newly renovated theatre is a good place to watch movies with family and friends. The theatre is clean with comfortable seating. The only downside is that the food is expensive here.

They have recently renovated the theatre and it's very clean and chairs are comfortable plus they tickets I felt comparatively lower for balcony so yes worth a try

It is very nice and comfortable for family and kids, Chitra's staff is also very friendly.

Nice new lounger seats if you want to enjoy movie in a relax mode.

Lovely movie house of my youth. Nice to see it in better modern version at very reasonable price and reasonably priced food compared to multiplex like PVR and Inox to name few.

It's so spacious and nice.
The washrooms are clean.
The food counter has limited options though.

Chitra cinema is completely revamped & renovated. The main attraction for me was its balcony which you don’t get now-a-days in multiplexes. The parking facility is a bit limited for only 8-9 vehicles on a first come first basis.

100 times better place then PVR.. pocket friendly in ticket and as well as in snacks
