Roja Muthiah Library was founded in 1994 to preserve, catalogue, and expand the collection of Roja Muthiah, a private collector who put together one of the world’s finest private libraries of Tamil publications during his lifetime. It is a very useful library for the Book lovers.

This library is one of a kind. You can learn more about tamil literature and history. I actually went there for NSS and I saw so much variety of books. The people there are very friendly.I got to see the reprint of the first printed Thirukkural published long ago. I also got to see reprint of Srinivasa Ramanujan's book in colour done using softwares. And so much more..

Note:Membership exists but the books are not lent. Instead, you can only sit there and read them.
