My guinea pig was very serious. Thanks to Dr.Shivani Tandel.Her proper diagnosis help my guinea pig to become healthy again

Dr shivani is the best vet for our exotic fur babies I have seen so far.I got Two female bunnies spayed from her and they were active and they started eating on the very next day .we have very horrible experience from past neuter and spay so this was a dream .
Not only the bunnies she neutred my cat too <3 whom I was struggling to get neuter from past two years.

she explains everything wonderfully inspite of being so busy .i would love to learn many things from her ,vett like her is a gift for exotic animals and dream for us .we had not imagined that we would get a vet who could be able to understand exotic animals and their needs so easily. We had struggled alot all these years to save so many babies and to learn things from our own but I now atleast they will get and
actually they are getting proper medical attention that they deserve and a better life .I hope she comes to Kolkata more often .

There can not be a more empathetic doctor than Dr. Shivani. I have a Lab of 10 years and budgies too and I have been taking them only to her all these years as I can never experiment with vet. In fact, my dog refuses to enter any other vet clinic but to her he goes like it's a treat for him. That itself speaks volumes about her genuine fondness for animals. I have referred her to my friends and they too have only good experiences to relate.

I have been to many Vet Doctors in Mumbai, and Dr Shivani is the best in Mumbai.. There is no better Vet Dr in Mumbai than her. You just need to book an appointment and be on time, it's always good to call and book an appointment and then go as she is busy..
But her treatment for any animal, bird, or tortoise/turtle, or any exotic pets, she is hats down the best.. 🥰

Absolutely reliable, most humble caring & very responsive vet. Highly recommended. She is excellent at her skills. She tried everything possible to save my rabbit without even charging a penny. Extremely glad to vet such genuine gem vets in India. Dr Shivani Tandel have always given correct medication and treatment to my rabbit. I have visited many cities in India for my bunny treatment but non were friendly and caring like her. ❤

I have been taking my rabbits and cats to Dr. Shiwani since the last 6-7 years and never even once had a bad experience with her. She treats and handles the pets with so much love and care. She is literally an animal whisperer and knows them inside out.
I have also taken rescued birds to her a lot of times and never have been disappointed once. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Finest exotic vet in India. Top notch. Just trust her diagnosis and follow the instructions. As a human she's the kindest soul and humble and very caring.
I run a rabbit rescue (NomNom) in India and we have sent many parents for consultation since September 2021. We are more than satisfied. Plus she comes to our city for health camps providing the best international care.

(Edit : I got my girl Kutii SPAYED by her in the July 2022 exotic camp in Kolkata. She started eating on her own from few hours, post surgery.

Within 24 hours she started playing on my bed and the suture was under the skin layer (subcutaneous) so there was no chance of her cutting it open and she was given adequate pain relief for couple of days for which she didn't even touch the thin micropore adhesive. There was no need of suture removal since it was under the skin and it was absorbable.

Before surgery, mam did chest x-ray and blood tests to make sure she didn't have any underlying health issues which made going under the anesthesia safer. She used Sevoflurene gas anesthesia and intubated her making sure she was getting enough oxygen directly into her lungs.

Past experience from local vet : I lost my female bunny Kutoo in 2019 because of a negligent post op care by a "senior" vet in Kolkata even when I spent a lot of money making sure the procedure, the pre operative blood tests were all okay, he didn't want to check those and literally mummified my bunny under tight bandages (so that the suture was untouched) who ultimately passed away due to post operative pain (that local vet didn't prescribe any soft tissue painkiller and the amount I gave myself wasn't enough to bring her relief, (rabbits are prey animals so they don't show that they are in pain) she was extremely dehydrated and was eating very little even on the 7th day and was extremely uncomfortable in stress and pain) ultimately causing gastrointestinal STASIS. She was denied fluids even when I requested a lot of times and badly handled during suture removal on day 8. All that experience was extremely traumatic and painful and after losing her I adopted Kutii (she was rescued and was starving) in 2020 who got safely and smoothly spayed along with eight other female rabbits by Dr Shiwani in 2022.

Due to Dr Shiwani Tandel,❤ my bunny is cancer free💪 and the most lovable person😚.

She has been available at all times. Sometimes we do forget that doctors are humans and they too have a life and we don't thank them enough and blame them if anything goes wrong with our furry babies. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Shivani and her team for always being there for us and taking care of all my bunnies and guiding us on keeping th healthy.

I have a Cockatoo and an African Grey. The doctor was very knowledgable and gave us the best possible routine for our birds. She was very patient in answering all our questions and my birds seem to have loved her too .

Dr. Shivani Tandel is really a Gem of Person, one of the best doctor in the society today. She helped me with my African grey who was suffering through dehydration, he is all fine now just because of her !!!!!!

I was very pleased with my experience at Phoenix Veterinary Clinic. Our parrot was attended with immense care. Doctor gave enough of time to understand bird's habits, nutrition and disorder.

Best veterinary clinic cum hospital within the city having all facilities required for pets under one roof such as day care, icu, operation theater, emergency assistance. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for proper guidance and care for ur pet.

Dr Shiwani is a vet with a true heart of gold. I have taken my pet cats and strays to her since she started her practice. It is the best.
