Trident Hotel Chennai

We had a great stay at the hotel.
I love the breakfast options, and they were too kind to adjust based on my preferences. The outdoor pool with a garden is a plus.
The rooms were clean and cozy. Room service was done in the morning and evening.
Airport transfer service is complementary.
In summary, you get what you paid for.

I really liked this hotel and will stay again when I return to Chennai. We got a club room as it came with an airport transport, which I wanted for our very early flight. The room was spotless and comfortable. It was also very quiet even though our room was facing the highway and the airport. The cocktail service in the evening was in a private room on the club floor--the snacks were excellent Indian finger food (veg and non-veg) and nicely served by handsome attendants. I had drinks, but my wife wanted a chai. Although it was not part of the standard service they ran out and got her one. I'm only sorry we had to skip the breakfast.

Had gone here to celebrate my parents 43rd wedding anniversary. The staff was helpful and the service was seamless. Extremely warm atmosphere and the food was delicious. They also arranged a surprise pastry.

Had visited the hotel coffee shop to meet an old friend who had come down from Sydney . The hotel, although over 35 years old has been immaculately maintained. The staff is polite and courteous. Service was on par with the best.

The most welcoming place I have been to in Chennai. Just a few minutes to the airport, so it's ldeal for travellers.
Night reception was great, only that I woke up to a balcony view instead of the airport view I was promised (Rm 279)

The hotel staff deserves special commendation for their warmth and professionalism. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Requests were met with efficiency and a genuine desire to ensure my stay was memorable. It's rare to encounter such a dedicated and friendly staff.

Located quite close to the airport, this is one of the better 5 star properties in Chennai and it certainly lives up to its reputation.

The property is well maintained and clean with the rooms quite spacious and modern and stocked up with amenities.

The staff here are wonderful and courteous, something quite relatable with the hospitality industry in India . They are always ready to help and make your experience better.

The breakfast buffet is quite good and you should definitely try during your stay here.

I am a frequent visitor to this property and till date I have never been disappointed by their service.

It was nice to be there, clean and tidy room. nice staff and welcome. everything was working great. the place and room was beyond our expectations. The place is fastastic. The team go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. very family oriented. we are actuallly cancel the different hotel so we could come back and stay again. Stayed here for a night . Reception of the staff is well trained and great hospitality in a better approach and behaviour wise.Nice food

Best hotel to relax after/before a flight.

Lights are set to in that way to match wall and ambience across all floors

Super quite atmosphere at times feels like somewhere like in outside of nowhere with top notch maintenence..heavenly feel..

Stay is not that expensive when compared to other hotel which is just 100 meters near to this 😀

This place is fantastic. The team go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Very family orientated. We are actually cancel the different hotel so we could come back and stay again of this please. Both our children (aged, 10 and 8) had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.

One of the Oldest Hotels in Chennai with warm Hospitality and great food. Its close to the airport and is a great place for business traveler’s.

Spend some quality of time along with our friend’s family. We went to attend function here. They have a hall with around 300 seating capacity and open dining area. Valet parking is available here.

Trident is very well maintained hotel with courteous and friendly staff. The dining options are very good. Found this hotel to be very quiet. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Chennai. The hotel is surrounded by many trees and offers a serene atmosphere.

Had a nice and pleasant stay. Service is top notch. Housekeeping and In room dining staff took care of all asks and went the extra mile to take care me. In room dining is 24/7. Breakfast buffet has a nice spread. Starts from 6.30 am and is available till 10.30 am. They have a pick up and drop service from the airport. You can also avail the mini for a cab. Very close to the airport and us conveniently located to any place that you would like to visit in Chennai. Nice rooms. You have a spa as well. Great place to stay on a business trip.

We stayed for a night and it was a awesome stay. We arrived early in the morning and asked if we could check in early. Not only were they accommodating, they even provided us with complimentary refreshments while we waited, and it wasn't a long wait either. 30mins and we got to our room!
The room was also very comfortable and clean. Slept very well for a new place.
All our queries were answered with a smile. The duty manager, Lokesh, was attentive and managed to help us when we were looking lost. Every time he saw us he would ask if we needed anything and if we were ok. We did ask if we could have a late check out as our flight out was at 11pm but unfortunately they had an event coming up and could not help with that but Anisha (not sure if I got the name right) helped us with our airport trip instead.
Was a truly comforting experience especially after a long week of travel. Will definitely come again!

This was an unplanned trip. Along with me were five other individuals. I gave a instant call to the GM and he was kind enough to accommodate me. We were totally drenched in sea water and so was every bit of our clothing. We informed the reception of the same and they duly send the laundry team who instantly took all our bags and in less than a day returned them dry and ironed. The room was very well made, and the communication equipment was well spaced. The mini bar was decently stocked. The cinnamon dining area handed by chef Narayana and parwinder with his team (Bipasha, udit and Chris) were always ready with home made recipes. You must try the phulka, paratha and poha is highly recommended. Don't forget dal baati. The pool and health facilities are very well maintained. By the end of the trip, the hotel felt like home. That credit goes to the management for selecting such a lovely team whose always ready with solution with a smile. Lots of hugs to ROUX. Ask for her and you would find out what you would have missed.
