Best Punjabi Dhaba in Mumbai: This is one of the best Punjabi Dhaba in Mumbai . They have both options vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. its hot n delicious. it might take a while for service but it’s worth the wait. the furniture is all basic but kept clean n tidy well organized n worth coming here with family and friends. The highlight is the welcome and closing drinks in shot glasses . All the recipes were authentic n delicious. Recommended dishes are Malai Kofta, Paneer butter masala and makke di roti with Lahsun. Wheelchair accessible with wallet parking and entrance.

One of the best punjabi restaurant. If you are in Mumbai and missing punjabi or North Indian food then this is the perfect destination. Sitting out side is the best. You can try veg and non veg both.

Hello All 👋
Prataps dhaba has been an age old memory for me now , been going here over a decade. And trust me if you are a person born with highly sensitive taste buds for Indian ( North Indian) food then I've got your back covered here.

This is a very cool place for lunch and dinners , family place and fabulous fabulous food. Whenever I crave a great butter chicken , a reshmi kebab , a lassi and yummy jalebi rabdi I run here. Their menu is build strong on Indian flavors and the crushed fried garlic and pickled onions are the cherry on the cake. They also severe alcohol in both AC and Non Ac seating spots.

If you have a family with high number of Indian cusines eaters esp dad's 😅 this is the place. Your meal would end with their signature Paan Shots ( a small shot glass made of milk paan and fennel will be a good digestion shot for the yummy food. Food food food is the specialty of the place, be it biryani to parathas they have it all. My favorite are the chicken reshmi kebab and butter chicken and naan. They are well priced say around ₹1500 for two people without drinks. Which is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the taste and quality of food

They serve in steel and brass utensils which gives it a very desi feel. Music is bollywood and punjabi soft in background ambiance. It's a must try if you are a foodie 😋

The ambiance is of a village of Punjab. At arrival they serve you garlic and onions in spices which is totally an awesome experience. Also after you finish your food a paan shot is given complimentary which too is great in taste. Most of the cuisine is Punjabi which is good in taste and a bit difficult to find in Mumbai. A must visit place.

Super tasty amazing food.
Sitting and decor is punjabi dhaba style.
We had methi corn malai and paneer dhania adraki with butter roti …awesome taste.
And with your food you will get welcome shots and after food paan shots.
Life is set
Must visit once at least to know what I am talking about.
During winter mosquito problem if you choose outdoor sitting.
Thanks it but still I gave 5 star because it’s worth.

Loved the food and service, definitely worth visiting for authentic Punjabi food.

We went by car although there is no designated parking you may find open parking spaces around by the road.

We were welcomed with complimentary Pudina Shots 😀 which were good appetisers. Had Masala Papad and Tasty Panipuri in starters. For main course had Chawla Special Chicken and Panner Dhaniya Adraki which had a really unique and tasty flavour. Found Chawla Special to be more of an European flavour 😅than Punjabi, would recommend the vegetarian dishes and probably best to stick with the well known punjabi butter chicken or Kadhai chicken in non vegetarian.

The decor is nice and cosy, there is open space also to sit and have food in addition to the usual AC section.

Lots of options in beverages (alcohol served as well), we did order lassi and chaas thoroughly enjoyed. We were offered complimentary Pan Shots with the bill which were quite refreshing.

Place lived up to its name and our expectations, Recommended.

What we think:
Had the most delicious chicken tangdi kebabs. This is one of the best places to eat at if you want an authentic dhaba wala taste and feel all while being in the middle of Mumbai. Absolutely a fan of their Kali daal and fried garlic that is sprinkled with a blend of spices. Literally everything we ate was finger licking good! Also, just for people wanting to know this info : All non-veg food served here is Halal certified.

I simply love their butter chicken. It's the creamiest butter chicken I have had.
Their chicken tandoori tikka was also good and surprisingly it is a spicy dish !!.
The food is just amazing. It's one of those places you have to be when you are having a cheat day !
The staff are also incredibly warm and have such great hospitality.
At the start they serve you some thing called as Pani Puri shot. It's a good start to the feast to come !! And they end it with it a drink called has pan shot.
They just know how to play with your taste buds !
Great family restaurant

This place is authentic! What I love about this place is that it's cosy, the ambience are great and above everything the food. It's worth every buck you spend.

Ambience: They have have given a Dhaba look both indoor and outdoor. Right from menu to the dishes are all styled.

Food: The good quality and quantity is upto mark. I've tried both veg and non veg here and absolutely loved it. So far I've tried butter chicken, chicken adraki, Paneer tikka masala, butter chicken biryani. The best part which I love is the pan shot which they give at the end of the meal. It's amazing! The food cooked for veg and non veg use different utensils even though the kitchen is same.

Service: The service is just quick and courteous.

Partap’s The Dhaba Hotel is a culinary treasure that brings the rich flavors of traditional Indian cuisine to life. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by the warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the dining experience. The menu is a gastronomic journey through North Indian delights, with a focus on Punjabi cuisine. The highlight, of course, is their tandoori dishes, like the mouthwatering tandoori chicken and buttery naan bread. The curries are bursting with authentic spices and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, you’ll find plenty of options to satisfy your palate. What truly sets Partap’s apart is the dedication to quality and the use of fresh ingredients, making every bite a flavorful adventure. The attentive staff and reasonable prices make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of India. Partap’s The Dhaba Hotel is a true culinary gem!”

I'm in love with this place. The sitting area, the service is great, gives you authentic punjabi vibes (which is difficult to find in mumbai). They offer complimentary jaljeera shots in the beginning and paan shots (it has a very unique and fresh taste, it's a heaven for people who enjoy paan) at the end. Not to forget the lip-smacking masala garlic and onion they offer is the best.
We ordered
Cheese garlic naan 5/5 (it was filled with cheese & had the appropriate amount of garlic, loved it);
Missi roti 2/5 (was a little disappointed with this one, it was quite thick and chewy)
and Normal butter tandoori roti 3/5 was just fine.
Dal tadka 3/5 tastes like one made at home, very mildly spiced.
Amritsari chole 5/5 were the star, appropriate amount of spices (not too overpowering) and the raw
onions gave the sabji a little cunch.
Paneer Dhaniya Adraki 4/5 - it's their paneer speciality (it has a strong aftertaste of garlic, comes in
a yellow gravy and tastes very unique its a treat if you enjoy garlic.)
For Starters we had - Golgappe 5/5 (comes with khat meethi imli chutney, thika pani & mix of boiled
potatoes and black chickpeas, again LOVED IT) Hara Bhara Kebab 5/5 (moist, rich and soft)
Paneer Achari Tikka 5/5 (soft and fresh chunks of paneer delicious sauces and sauteed veggies)
Jalebi with Rabdi 10/5 stole the show for me, authentic hot and fresh pupiabijalebis with cold and thick rabdi, Sorry for exaggerating but its my new favourite punjabi place
