Zaffran Lower Parel

One of the best restaurants for non-vegetarian cuisine.
Currently, it's my favorite non-veg restaurant. I've tasted seekh kababs in a variety of restaurants, but Zaffran delivers the best kababs and main courses.
I tried so many things here and everything was deleteable.
I got a non-veg platter and banjara kababs in tiny plates, and each dish was beautifully marinated and delicious. Biryani is my personal favorite because it is authentic Hyderabadi biryani. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and smooth, and the kulcha and rumali roti were the finest.
The desserts and mocktails were delicious.
Overall, I had a fantastic time here.

I recently dined at Zaffran restaurant located at Todi Mills, Lower Parel, and it was an outstanding experience.

The North Indian & Mughlai cuisine served here is simply delicious, and I relished every dish we ordered. The Mocktail and fresh juices were delightful too.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Make sure not to skip the Zaffran special Phirni; it's a must-try dessert.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

ZAFFRAN is authentic North Indian Restaurant, best known for Mughlai Cuisine in Mumbai and specially their Biryanis are very popular.

They have many outlets in Mumbai, we visited the one in Todi Mills which looks simple yet classic.

The staff are courteous and prompt.
Very kind and welcoming.

Food is very heartwarming, rich and satisfying.

They also serve fresh juices to go along.
We loved their chilled refreshing Pineapple Juice and Pudina Jamun Caprioska.

In food we started with Punjabi Bharwa Mushroom and Tandoori Paneer Tikka..
Both were made so well, we really enjoyed our starters.
Marination was on point and grilled to perfection.

Later in mains we tried Lasooni Palak and ZAFFRAN ki Dal.. their signature dal makhani, so creamy and rich.. also the lasooni palak was mildly spicy and very tasty.. we enjoyed it with butter naan and roomali roti.

And finally we called for their Biryani, which I was waiting to eat from the moment we entered, this place is meant for Biryani I would say, it is so well made, the aroma and flavours are just perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here, it was definitely soul satisfying and we highly recommend to try this place if u looking for some really good Indian Food.

Zaffran is synonymous with North Indian cuisine. It is located in the narrow and bustling bylanes of Todi Mills at Lower Parel. One needs to take a flight of stairs to reach the restaurant since it is on the 1st floor..

The interiors are minimal, which makes it look spacious. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Talking about what all we ordered here -

Zaffran Aur Elaichi Sherbet (5/5) - As name suggests, with a fair mix of lime
Khus Aur Lime Float (4.5/5) - Khus, Lemon Juice, Vanilla Ice Cream
Subz Peshawari Seekh (5/5) - on the spicier side, but delicious with Mint chutney
Hara Bhara Kebab (5/5) - Delightful
Zaffrani Malai Kofta (5/5) - Spinach and Cottage Cheese Dumplings in tomato gravy. Usually comes sweet, but can be tweaked as per preference
Daffran Ki Daal (5/5) - In house version of Daal Makhani
Pudina Paratha (5/5) - Flavourful Lachcha paratha

Must say the portion size is good. Pricing is quite reasonable. Overall a good experience here, would definitely recommend visiting if in Lower Parel.

Zaffran, a renowned establishment specializing in North Indian and Mughlai cuisine situated at Lower Parel, Todi Mills, is synonymous with saffron. The aromatic essence of saffron is perceptible in every dish they offer. Our culinary journey began with delightful mocktails, including watermelon, orange, and star anise, as well as pudina, jamun, and caprioska, both of which were invigorating.

For our appetizers, we relished their chicken platter, an assortment of chicken, mutton seekh kababs, chicken tikka, and Amritsari tandoor fish. Each bite was succulent and delectable, making it a must-try.

Next we had their Roomali masala Papad this was huge with tomato onion salad on time with perfect dash of lemon ! Highly recommend 😋

Moving on to the main course, we savored their Subz Handi, a medley of exotic vegetables cooked in a rich onion-tomato gravy infused with whole spices. As non-vegetarians, we thoroughly enjoyed this dish paired with butter garlic naan and lachcha paratha.

Chicken biryani was fragrant with right amount of rice and masala ! Biryani lovers you are gonna love this 🤌🏼😋

Concluding our meal on a sweet note, the kesar phirni and gulab jamun stood out as the perfect dessert choices. The creaminess of these treats captured our hearts.

😋 Fish Amritsari : Boneless squares of batter fried basa fish in red sauce. It tastes exceptional
😋Murg Rogan josh with Garlic Naan : slow cooked and properly marinated lamb meat served in a thick gravy and tastes delicious with freshly baked garlic naan
😋Hyderabadi Awadhi biryani with Raita : Served in a classic aluminium pot the Hyderabadi biryani is true to its taste. You can savour the marinated chicken and long grains of rice in every bite
😋Caramel Custard : hands down this is the best authentic caramel custard ! It just melts in your mouth and makes you order some more !!!

I recently dined at Zaffran in Lower Parel and had a delightful experience. Our server, Dammar Chand, provided excellent service throughout the meal. The drinks were refreshing and unique, particularly the Khus & Lime Float and the Orange, Ginger, Lemon Juice.

The starters were a highlight with the Veg Kabab Platter offering a variety of flavorful options like Paneer Tikka, Subz Peshawari Seekh, Vegetable Hara Bhara Kebab, and Tandoori. The Lasooni Prawns were perfectly cooked and the Roomali Masala Papad added a nice crunch.

Moving on to the mains, the Prawn Masala served with Steamed Rice was a delectable combination of spices and seafood. The Paneer Makhani paired with Garlic Naan was rich and satisfying.

For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was a sweet treat that melted in the mouth, and the Phirnee was a delightful way to end the meal on a traditional note.

The Mughlai cuisine is created and developed in the Mughal Empire kitchen. Mughal cuisine consists of the dishes which are developed and became popular in the medieval Indo-Persian centres of the Mughal Empire.
The restaurant looks elegant, spacious, clean and hygienic.
Good service and friendly approach by the staff.
We ordered fresh fruit juice pineapple, watermelon🧋.
For starters we will suggest you go for murg ka banjara kebab, mutton seekh kebab🍢
The main course we will suggest you murgh tikka briyani , nalli nihari gosht🥘.
For dessert we will Caramel custard🍮.

Zaffran has to be one of the finest fine dines in the town. The dining experience was pure luxury.
We visited the lower parel outlet which is located at todi mill compound.
It’s on the 1st floor, the ambience is elegant.

For the appetisers, we had fish amritsari & chicken tandoori. Fish literally melted in the mouth. The tandoori too was cooked to perfection and had masalas infused inside it.
For the mains, we ordered the zaffrani chicken biryani, and let me tell you the portions were way above par.

Not to miss their refreshing mocktails which they do really good.

We ended our meal with the biggest and undoubtedly the best gulab jamuns in the town.

A nice restaurant with a good menu, tasty food and beautiful ambience.

The menu had lots of good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, their selection is on point.

It wasn't particularly over crowded, we got a chance to take some splendid pictures while we waited for the food to arrive.

Service was impeccable, they were courteous and helped us decide what to choose. We were a part of 9 and they helped us settle-in properly and gave us the time we need to decide.

The best appetizer was their Masala Papad, hands down tasty and photogenic!

All in all, full 5* for the food and service.

Zaffran is a totally indian restaurant with a lot of saffron infused dishes as it's name suggests. They have a great quantity so make sure to ask them the amount while ordering.
I ordered was
1. Dum subz handi
2. Achari panner tikka.
3. Kurkuri bhindi masala.
4. Makai ki tikki.
All was so authentic the taste, the flavours it was just delicious.
Packaging of food was well maintained in containers. And Also for safety matter they also issued us temperature of rider.
Overall it was very satisfied.
Looking forward to order some more food from here.

When you crave for mughlai, and you see zaffran in the delivery section, there is nothing more you can ask for!!

Zaffran is known for their delicious mughlai preparations, not only in non veg but also veg. Loads of choices.

I placed the order through Zomato, order delivery was done on time.
Starting with their packaging, it was very neat and the boxes were all tightly locked and spill proof. Good quality containers.

Ordered their Mutton seekh kebab lucknowi and veg galouti kebab in appetizers.
Mutton seekh kebab is coated with egg white and the delicious seekh is stuffed inside. Along with the green chutney, it was heavenly!!!
Veg galouti kebab, so soft, felt like it was melting in the mouth. Amazing flavours and taste!

In biryani, ordered their Murgh biryani. Rice and chicken cooked well with spices, I loved it!!

Also tried their murg musalman, nice red thick gravy along with soft well cooked chicken. I would highly recommend it!

Portions seemed good enough for 2 people, even the price range felt decent for all the dishes I ordered.

Overall, my cravings were satisfied and my love for mughali cuisine keeps growing!!!

The food from Zaffran is not just delicious but it is some of the best in the city.

They are masters of their Kababs and Tikkas. Recently re-ordered from here and was immediately nostalgic. I definitely recommend it.
My recommendations are

Lucknowi seekh kabab: delicious mutton seekh kebabs wrapped in a coating of of egg and flour. Extremely tasty. It's like eating a seekh kabab in the thinnest possible baida the roti.

Paneer Achari Tikka: as the name suggests it is a Tanga tikka with the softest Paneer and smoky vegetables. so delicious it just melted in my mouth every single time I have tried it. It is also a favourite in my house.

Chicken tikka masala: unlike other chicken tikka masala available in the city this one is nice and spicy and pears very well with garlic naan oru simple roti as well. In half portion the give you 4 pieces of chicken tikka, Some big some small but all extremely delicious! Definitely recommended.

Murgh musallam: usually murgh musallam is served in two coloured gravies but the murgh musallam at zafran is special. It is a single coloured red thick gravy with boneless shredded chicken tandoori pieces and tons of flavour. Recommended for those who like thick mughlai gravies.

The packaging was on point and they I'd put a security sticker with the temperatures of all the people handling the food which was very helpful. The also sent condiments like chutney pickle onion and lemon. All in neat and clean containers which was very much appreciated in my house.

Really had a great experience at zafran and I have always done so.

Recently happend to try their following dishes :

1) Lucknowi mutton seekh kebab - The kebab were tender and juicy. It tasted delicious. The spices were accurate. We highly recommend this.
2)Murgh biryani - The biryani was amazing.
The chicken pieces were cooked proplerly.
Taste was on point.
Now coming to the kebabs, tried hara bara kebab, it tasted good though.

The packaging were on point.
Delivery was on time too .

Authentic Indian food cravings? Zaffran anyday! Especially for the non veg. Went here on a weekday for dinner and I was able to get ample space, no waiting. The vibe is classy fine dine, good for groups and families.

Started off with some prawns and and the famous galoti kebab and I was speechless! Literally melted in my mouth, the tandoori prawns was superb too, really well cooked. In the mains called for the chicken malai, creamy smooth and tender chicken, just made my day.

For desserts, we did the cotton candy ice cream and surprisingly this was better than the usual ice cream brands. They're probably making this in house cause its amazing. Definitely recommended, worth a visit.

Every penny paid for this was absolutely worth it! Trust Zaffran to serve some mouth-watering dishes. To celebrate my parents' anniversary, we ordered the following:

Achari Paneer Tikka: A yellow coloured Super soft roasted paneer kebab with a traditional pickle flavour was a winner for me. The roasted vegetables just added to the smokiness.

Mutton lucknowi seekh: One word - delicious. the mutton mince was well spiced and succulent. The coating had a nice delicate saffron flavour.

Murgh Banjara Kebab: Beautifully charred chicken pieces that were juicy on the inside. the flavours were delicate and beautiful.

Chicken Tikka Masala: A classic done right. The gravy was thick and chicken tikka pieces were well cooked.

Overall, a very good experience.

The chicken barbeque chunks were cooked to perfection and the spicy masala was just making it amazing

Achari panner tikka
A freshly tandoor panner with achari taste and served with an green chutney was a perfect combination
