Hi friends I happened to visit this cemetery for a Christian funeral on April 2022.This is under the control of greater Chennai corporation. In spite of lack of space they were courteous enough to bury us. doctor certificate needs to be produced for death certificate.Death certificate has to be submitted in that particular cooperation zone and it can be collected after 21 days. It is better to check the availability of space rather than last minute rush.Thanks.Stay safe stay healthy. My prayers and wishes for a long life.👍🙏🙋‍♂🇮🇳

This 3 star is only to show my following disagreements which I can express only here:
When crackers are allowed only for specified hours for diwali and high decibel crackers are totally banned, certain funeral arrangements management people who collect money as a package allow bursting of crackers especially high decibel atom bombs to be burst as swaram (arranged to burst non stop) with high drum sounds - beaten as hard as possible and whistles to assist dancers who are drunk and make noise. This culture is still not discouraged by our so called radicals. This is not only noise pollution but crackers cause air pollution too apart from following a primitive culture which should be discouraged in big cities. The crackers are burst more and drums beaten harder as the funeral reaches the crematorium where the residents around suffer on daily basis without anytime limits.
Hope our Govt instructs the funeral management people to avoid crackers esp high decibel ones and instruct drum beaters to reduce their sound that they deliberately make.
