Bairagi Math

It's a 500 year old temple built in 5 acres of land. Once a very well maintained temple. The priests are very patient and tell mantram and do puja to your satisfaction. The residents of town area can go to the temple regularly. A Tirupati look alike statue of Lord Srinivasa. The eyes of Lord Lakshmi Narasimhar is so realistic. A beautiful statue of Goddess Andal. A dazzling statue of Sri Ranganathar and Krishna. It was nice to visit this heritage temple. Must go once at least.

A Venkatesa Perumal temple with Alamelumangai Thayar temple managed by the Bhairagi math. Built during Vijayanagara period and the mukha mandapam was built during 19th to 20th Century

Divine place and many people are not aware of the importance and the age of the temple

My favorite balaji mandir. The idol is very similar like thirupati. And lord Lakshmi narasimha is very special his eyes look like human eyes. A must visit hindu temple.

East facing symbolic type vaishnav perumal temple in sowcarpet area where thousands throng decades ago,but still it crowdsduring festive days. Well maintained by ayyangars. Without lights moolavirat resembles like as balaji in tirumala hill.It has cosmic vibes.the temple was cared by byragis in those days so it is surrounded by ram mandir hanuman temples on north south side.Pushkarinonce magnificent but in ruins now. Small goshala there. How hindu temples are uncared by people and kings are evident. Despite many odds lord venkateswara here blesses all. In temple alamelmanga kannan, srirama, andal, lord narasimha shrines there. A neat maintained hanuman shrine on north side where one can abhishek sadasiv. The narasimhamurthy here is powerful. Visit here and you'll try to revisit.

Extremely peaceful and really good vibes the moment you step into this temple. Easily over 1000 years. Less crowded on most days hence can have a really good Dharshan.

One of the ancient located near hot Chennai Central railway station. This temple is in the NSC Bose board. Umbrellas will be sent to Tirumala from here every year during Puratasi(September) month. It is one of the great festival done here. People will be flooded at that time. Asusual every Pooja's are done like other Vishnu temples. Karthigai, Puratasi urchavam is famous here.

Very silent temple and lots of God you u can see...like Ram sita, hanuman, Devi Lakshmi, Narshima, Shivji, parvathi, Ganeshji, etc...
Lot of peace and cool atmosphere..at the corner u can find 5-6cows...from out side temple u can buy grass for them n give to cows...u wil also find cats inside..

This is an ancient more than 400 years old temple .. there is peace of mind inside the temple but the surroundings are very dirty .. we visited for puja there .
