Anna Nagar Ayyappa Temple

Being from kerala settled in chennai we go to Anna nagar Ayyappan temple frequently. The ambience of the temple reminds us of Kerala. We went on a weekend this time ( 30th dec2023) for dads birthday. People going to sabari mala pilgrimage were tying their iru mudi ketu. Saranam ayyapa chant filled the temple. We were able to get Ayyapa darshan soon as the queue moves quickly. We took ticket for appam and aravana payasam.

Ganesha,Murugan, Devi or durga, Navagraham were the other deities.
Anna dhanam was also served in the temple.
List of archanas and donation for anna dhanam were listed in the board next to archana counter.

Mindfulness place to visit. Highly disciplined and maintained neat and clean. Daily annadanan is given for devotees. Good Administration by Mr Kumar and Team. A notable place to visit for Lord Ayyappan Devotees

Located near Anna nagar Tower Park.
Between Anna Nagar East metro - Anna nagar Towet metro located.
Same as Sabarimala pooja done here. Sabarimala irumudi started from here.
Annadhanam for devotees morning and afternoon done here.
Must see temple.
Crowded in season. Monthly pooja also very famous here.

During the month of Karthigai and Markazhi, the temple board organises and conduct live concert by famous artists and singers, it feels pleasant to participate and enjoy it. The only unpleasant thing is unavailability of parking space during festival time

One of my favorite place in Anna nagar! Neatly maintained and peaceful environment. Occasionally u can enjoy Sendai-melam.. if i feel fed up/down, the temple would be my first choice!

A place for workship, it is calm most of the time. And for people who like to hear melam, everyday evenings they have a small shingari melam along with pooja.

Very plesant temple. Services are well defined. If you are looking for irunudi services it starts from 630 am in non peak months.

Good temple with very good atmosphere. Regular poojas and other activities are good. Peace of mind while visiting and worshiping the deity. Parking is only the issue. Roadside parking is available. There is big dining hall attached to the temple which will be useful for religious functions.

Such a Divine place, neatly maintained... Everytime I go there feeling blessed..
