Agartala Railway Station

Agartala Railway station is an important railway station of Tripura. Station is moderately clean, less congested. road transport system around the station is also good, but fare charges are comparatively high. overall a good station. And also General Tickets Not available.....at a times

The railway station of Agartala is clean with a great exterior. The staff(s) are helpful and easy to approach.

We took the train from Agartala to Kumarghat to reach Unakoti.

The BJP Government has made the station wonderful and of international standard. Very clean and state of the art facilities available.

Nice place and various destination train's are available here according to your need and comfort such as express,superfast,local,demu, special etc.

Agartala Railway Station

The one thing i find about this station is that it starts from here itself (i.e., extreme end station compared to other railway stations for us). I have found my seat and washroom areas all very neat and tidy since Agartala station is the starting point.
There can be further improvements within the station with more shops and restaurants etc.

This is the most beautiful railway station in entire North East India. The station is clean and hygienic. It is also well maintained and depict the culture of Tripura. The night view of the station is awesome and the statues in front of the station. In the station you will get number of autos to travel to your destined location. Overall experience is good and the people are also helpful.

Oh my god.! This is just phenomenal. I have never seen a railway station like this before. Truly it's is more beautiful than Agartala airport! It has a large area. Not only it's area but also it is much neat and clean. It has all the facilities that a station should give. It's not crowded at all. You can easily find a taxi there to go anywhere in Agartala. It is also not very far from Bangladesh border. Thanks

The railway station is located almost 5km from the Agartala city.Before 2015,the station was connected to Lumding with a metre gauge. It was converted to broad gauge in 2016 and was connected to rest of India via Guwahati.This year during the month of October the first express train to khongsang (Manipur) was Flagged off by President of India.The platforms are very clean.Auto-rickshaw are available round the clock for Transport. ....

Very clean station and local train available across for the whole state, also some interstate trains run through here

A clean station which was once metergauge terminal.. the building is cool in design and looks like state museum building.. there are not many trains from here .. it has 3 platforms with new bogie water filling system ... Absolutely vlean tracks .. a foot over bridge and fine water points.(may not be potable)

There are no hotels or restaurants nearby ... Infact there is no decent and popular restaurant in whole agartala city.... The station is a slight left from AD road towards sabroom...

Agartala railway station is a very beautiful and clean railway station built in inspiration of Ujjayanta palace, the Royal palace of Agartala, Tripura. Being the second largest city in the Northeast India, Agartala waited long to connect with the rest of India by railways. In 2008 meter gauge rail came to Agartala then in 2017 it was connected with broad gauge.

I haven't seen any white color railway station across the nation except Agartala Railway Station. How beautiful it looks from a distance.

I visited the railway station last week, it is one of the most beautiful station I'v ever seen.

Nice looking station. Lots of space for parking. Near to main City area. Foods available nearby. Cheap accommodation also available nearby.

This is local station for me. Here I found some good infrastructure and facilities. But I think people should be more careful when they try to use and good kinda things. And the cleanliness should be maintained by the visitors.
