Narayan is one of the names and forms of Vishnu, the supreme god of Vaishnavism, a major tradition of Hinduism. The name Narayan means "the resting place of water" or "the place of refuge for man" in Sanskrit. Narayan is often depicted as lying on a serpent in the cosmic ocean, with his consort Lakshmi massaging his feet. He is also shown holding a conch, a discus, a lotus and a mace in his four hands. Narayan represents the aspect of Vishnu that creates and sustains the universe. He is also known as Purushottama, the best among men, and Hari, the remover of sins.

Narayan is associated with many legends and stories in Hindu scriptures. He is said to have incarnated in various forms, known as avatars, to protect the world from evil and restore dharma, or cosmic order. Some of his most famous avatars are Rama, Krishna, Narasimha, Varaha and Kurma. Narayan is also worshipped along with other gods, such as Shiva and Ganesha, in different temples and festivals. Narayan is revered by millions of Hindus as the ultimate source of everything and the supreme goal of life.

It's very beautiful place to visit especially for the patient in pgi as patients are not allowed to go far away from hospital when admitted but is very nearest temple so they can go to this temple

This is one the very beautiful temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. People must visit this temple in the evening to see beauty of temple with lights.

Nice place to visit in Chandigarh. This place is just adjoining to PGIMER Chandigarh sector 12. Shri Hari Mandir is just adjoinined with Gurudwara sahib.
You can visit this place for free.
Last i visit this place in September 2022. Overall nice experience to visit this place. The Temple premises is very neat and clean and well decorated.
