Beautiful hotel located on the main road with multicusine and authentic South Indian food at a very affordable price. Food rates don't go above 300 for a dish and they taste really good. They serve it hot too and have a lot of waiters so that service can be done fast. It has very good walking space and parking space. The rates of the rooms are decent too. It's a worthy a try and it doesn't tear ur pocket too.

It’s value for money ! Rooms are clean . Staff polite , they even accommodated by allowing an extension of our stay by 5 hours because we checked in late without any extra charge. Definitely best option in that area.
Restaurant attached also has very good South Indian food . Meal option is the best. North Indian food was average tasting.
Definitely recommend the place.

One of the old hotels in Chennai that still functions as it used to be. I did not stay here, but have been here to visit my friends l, family and had food at the restaurant couple of times. First of all, great hotel having multiple restaurants with an excellent service. I usually go to their Vrindavan restaurant and never get disappointed. Their meals is too good with soup to desert with excellent quality. Highly recommend if you wanted to try a vegetarian hotel in Chennai.

The total area of the hotel itself is very huge. One will not feel cramped once stepped outside of hotel because of this.

Rooms are decent enough. Good choice for US visa interview.

We had done early check in at 7am. They did not charge extra for early check-in.

Complimentary breakfast is great.

I would recommend avoiding the Krishna restaurant which is inside the premises of the hotel for either lunch/dinner. Food is expensive and the taste is not worth the price.

Best vegetarian restaurant with multiple halls serving specialized dishes. Had thali meals for lunch. Excellent food & their service is fast & caring. Have rooms also. Ample parking facilities. Never miss this place when in Chennai.

Went alone with my family and we ordered half of the Menu almost I can say coz we were about 10 members. Only dish we were disappointed with was Panner tikka masala which came with sweet gravy and looked more like kofta curry but other wise food was good and we enjoyed and serving was also quick.

This is an iconic hotel and known for its excellent service and food. The premises are kept near and clean. There's ample space for car parking and have a couple of restaurants, ice cream parlor. This is a popular wedding venue. Located on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai.

Have stayed here before. Old world charm is the only thing which comes to my mind when I entered this hotel. Place is old but well maintained. Staff is really good and courteous. Rooms are like mini suites. Very good size rooms and bathroom. The room service was very quick and good. Very good central location. The breakfast buffet is worth the extra money you pay. All items were served fresh. Very good choices. Overall it was a very good experience stating here.

If you have US experience, imagine coming to a diner that reminds you of the 1960s.

Recently we rented the mini hall for small family event. Overall experience was very good. Friendly staff, food was good( less oil and spice) and the venue met all the expectations. Mr.William , helped us with booking and was helpful and prompt throughout the process. Highly recommend the place for a casual meal or as a venue for your future events.

My experience of having vegetarian lunch at Woodlands with childhood friends was great. The food was also very good and served by courteous waiters.

Centrally located,convenient,with all facilities of lift, saloon, marriage hall, hotels , lawn etc well behaved staff, reasonably priced,accomodate on early arrival or late departure. Definitely my recommendation for your next visit

Hotel is Existing with more than 60 year at Prime location of Chennai. I recently stay for two days here for my Tirupati Darshan Trip. Hotel having own compound, you can walk during evening or night time.

Hotel having its own resturant named krishna resturant, they served authentic South India food, Hotel staff was very polite, you can have a food here you feel peace of mind.

We went to Krishna restaurant here. The breakfast was outstanding. We had Poori-potato curry. We could make it by tastevthat the bPoori was made with atta without any maida nude and had very less residual oil and the curry was extremely tasty. We also has raava Dosa and Vada. Both very nicely made and crisp. The Sambar and Chutney were extremely tasty.

Rooms are spacious. The food is great and location is so prime. If you like RICH veg food then go here.

Choice 3 veg restaurants. Ate in Krishna. Wish everyone ate more veggies and less rice. People around me were interested in how much rice they can eat. People around me kept asking for more rice than asking for seconds of vegetables. Probably, the restaurant should limit the rice they serve.

Went for dinner.
As ever good traditional south indian food.

Almost a whole in the wall restaurant in Chennai, but always packed due to the delicious food :). Especially the falooda! 😁
