Awesome food. Authentic cuisine. Wide menu for veg and non-veg. Urulai varuval and mushroom pepper fry was highlight. The vazhapoo kulambu needs a special mention, superb taste. Finish it with a pot kulfi or elaneer payasam. Nannari sarbath in between the meal 😊. Kudos to the team. Great service. Highly recommended. A must try

Food was good. Restaurant is neat, clean and made look like a old age style one. In my view it is a just a one time try place. Briyani is just a normal one, can't compare with any other. Meals is a best option.

Had a chance to have lunch at Munveedu Restaurant. All the starters which we ordered were really good. Also went for Non veg Meals, Mutton and Chicken briyani.. Meals was really good.. Briyani seems to be ok, bit spicy.. HIGHLIGHT was their Elaneer Payasam..It's worth the try.. Good Ambience for friends and families who wish to spend time..GIVE A TRY ONCE ATLEAST..

Our group of 12 had excellent experience when we were at lunch yesterday. Most of the dishes were good as we had Kola Urundai,Chicken Lollypop, Koduva and Kala fish fry, Nattu Kizhi and Mutton biryani and Non Veg Meals. Staff were good and only thing was we had to wait 30mins more than what they have informed.

Authentic Tamil style traditional food, I was cruising through the space, simply searching for a pleasant spot to have lunch when I stumbled over this spot. Out front there a few group in a parklet and the scents of their food sold me. I went inside to discover another couple eating at one of the corners, and they were raving about the food. Everything looks OK. The spot is incredible and village style with a couple of corners inside, however they were doing a very decent takeout business. So I plunked down, looked at the menu and chose Mutton biryani , lamb curry and a rose milk . All were awesome, and since I like my food hot, they did and it was excessively (however at that point I requested it), yet everything I can say is that it was extremely tasty and I unquestionably will be back

We liked the ambience very much. Food was not the best but definitely very good. My wife liked the liver fry. They give chutney and sambhar for egg dosa. I loved it. I will say this is a must try restaurant.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. All the dishes we ordered was fantastic. Both quantity and quality wise. Price too seems to be in lower side when compared to similar restaurants. Only downside is if you are early on weekends, you need to wait in queue to get a table.

Been here multiple times. Have not been disappointed even once. Authentic Tamil style cuisine. Starting from their refreshing drinks, starters , unlimited meal options , desserts everything is excellent. The curries which they provided with the meals is sooo thick and tasty. My favorite dessert is their elaneer payasam. The place will generally be crowded , so better to do an advanced booking. Parking inside the premises is limited but vehicles can be parked on the road too.
A must visit place for anyone who wishes to have a good heavy lunch/dinner.

An excellent ambience makes us feel like we are in a village. Food is really good and worth the money. Must try tandoori parotta very soft, I have never experience in any other restaurants. Grean peas masala was just lit.

A very mouth watering chicken Biryani served in a appealing silve coated dishes. The resturant has some good traditional wall decor made of Indian pottery accessories.

Munveedu restaurant 's non veg meals was awesome . Each curry had it's authentic taste. We had also order chicken lolipop and pot kulfi. The chicken was mouth watering , the flavour of the chicken lolipop was fantastic. The final touch by pot kulfi was satisfying. The ambience of the restaurant was excellent. Keep rocking .

Taste was top notch in all varieties especially in sea food. Best place for non-vegetarian and moreover their service is eye-pulling. Restaurant is constructed with limited space for parking and dinning. Otherwise good to go.

I would say the food was at its best.
This was my first time at munveedu, it was team lunch from. My office and we were a team of 13.
The managing staffs helped us with the seating and made our dine hustle free.. The wait time was very minimal. Food was served in no time for nonveg dishes.. Veg dishes took a little extra time to be served. Food quantity was reasonable.
Hygiene and clean location and ambience.
Overall the experience was homely and tasty.

Heard about this restaurant in the past and got a chance to try it on a Sunday evening. Limited car parking within the premises but you can park outside. Menu consists of typical non-veg items from Tamilnadu as well as Roti, Naan varieties as well. Tried Saiva Eeral kuzhambu and Nattu kozhi kuzhambu with Idly and kal dosai. Excellent taste and liked it very much. My son ordered their signature Elaneer payasam and it tasted good. Other dessert of Mudka Kulfi was okayish only compared to the payasam. For those who are interested, they kept vettrilai, paakku and seeval also. Overall value for money.

Ambiance is good & something unique. Nattukozhi dishes are delicious. The Biriyani items are average only. Sukkumalli coffee is something not to be missed. Customer service is excellent. From the parking staff, to the receptionist, to the waiters, the whole team is treated us with a smiley faces & good care. Reasonable price.

Fantastic ambiance. An old mud house ambiance. Variety of menu is great and pricing is Nominal for the quality and quantity. For spice lovers kadamba milagu piratal is a must to try .

Atmosphere of the restuarant was very good it looks like traditional house of the south indian people. And the dishes name also was interesting they put the traditional name for their menu card. And main thing food was very tasty but the quantity of the food is less for the money. Really you can enjoy your food here try it.

Where should I start? Should I talk about the food, amibence, or the price. This place satisfies all of it.
Truly authentic be it the place or the food. The aroma makes your hunger pangs go crazily in love even before the food arrives on the table.
We had
Nandu Melagu Rasam - loved it to the last drop.
Mutton Thalakari Sukka - yummy, yummy and just yummy.
Non vegetarian meal & a vegetarian meal both were simply tasty and true to its taste.

Should you visit being a non vegetarian foodie?
I say a big yes... 👍👍

There are lots more to try...
Just waiting for the next time... 😉

First of all the location was so peaceful and a broad road. You really get a feel of getting into a manveedu. Nice themed restuarant with each and every pieces exactly vintage.

Coming to dishes, it was awesome and so spicy. Really mouth watering dishes out here, especially my favorite is Nandu Poriyal which is shellless, you should defintely try that.

All dishes are wonderdul and definetely recommended.
