I have come from abroad and though had heard of innumerable stories of staff not being helpful in any way in any post office , I found to my pleasent and utter surprise the staff atleast in this Azad Nagar Post office in Andheri West branch very cordial ,well mannered, helpful n polite making me extremely comfortable and also getting my work done within ten minutes, had come for my personal Aadhar Card work . Thanks again to the concerned staff for help rendered , stay blessed 🙏💐👍💝🇮🇳

Azad Nagar Postoffice is divided in 2 floors. Ground floor and first floor. They have kept the place neat and clean. There’s always staff available to guide you. There’s no wheelchair accessibility and no wheelchair parking. If you’re reading this then I want to say thank you 🙏 for your lovely time.

I had visited this office to send many of my packages to my hometown. Upon reaching the staff informed me that they will inspect the contents of the package and only then will i be able to pack each box up, and post it. This is a rule. I had about 10 big boxes, packed and sealed with stretch wrap to waterproof them as I was posting it during monsoons. The staff sitting outside refused to budge no matter how much I requested them, or tried to make them understand how tedious the job of unpacking-packing would be, also the transportation cost from my home to the post office, extra hassles, time limitations etc. This wouldn't be necessary if there was a scanner present to check the rough contents. At the end, one worker advised me to speak to the post master. And so i did. I requested him to help. I was in a dilemma - i couldn't take the boxes back. I appealed to him to find a possible solution and the gentleman that he was, he helped me out. I was indebted to him and the staff for making the process easier for me.

Efficient Aadhaar enrollment and details update service center. People queue up as early as 7am to get tokens for the day. Upto 20 tokens are issued every day. No more. 1 token is given to 1 person. No more. The attached image has the document list needed for the different update types. The co ordinator gives the form and instructions. Process starts from 9am. Person needs to be present in person to vaildate biometrics. The appointment process is a pain but once you have the appointment the process is a breeze.

The staff posted at this post office are so dutiful and dedicated that it feels so good to interact with them. Always cooperative and friendly. It is always a pleasure to be there.

This is excellent information. However, during the month which Saturdays Post Office remains closed to be indicated.
