Cherthala (Sherthalai)

Cherthala railway station of Alappuzha is one of the clean and clam railway station in Kerala. It's nearest to Alappuzha. It consists snakes and beverage store, waiting room, clock rooms, free-wifi by Google. They are aslo provides the online reservation. The station is secured by Kerala Police and Railway Police Force. It's centre point of nearby tourist places.

It's a good station but lack of coolies to help with luggage and the information provided by the station master about the platform and the coach location is an issue.

A small railway station with all the basic facilities. There are no lifts to climb up the foot over bridge which is unlikely to be present in such a small station. Overall it is neat, tidy and maintained well.

Beautiful village and good foods available here at all hotels and street foods shops . 3 multiplex theatre here. Famous Ancient temples here. Raliway station, ksrtc stant, pvt bus stand, famous colleges, riffle club, etc ...

A popular and beautiful town in Alappuzha district, with many beaches, greenery, markets and other shopping facilities. Located roughly in midway between Alappuzha and Kochi. This place gets its name from kartyayini devi.

Needs development in terms of infrastructure.
Well connected via bus route. Offers day and night auto taxi service.

A station which is access point for lots of people who comes from different places near to cherthala..... Both long distance express Trains and passenger trains have stop here.... There is a bike parking area and car parking area available in nominal cost infront of station.... Both ksrtc)(including super fast) and private bus stops here... There is also a auto stand within inside the station.....

Small station , laid back staff. No idea which train will come on which station. In the last moment you have to run to platform. There is no lift here, so when they announce, it's a nightmare for a handicapped person to change platforms.

Calm and quite. Safe 24 hours. Trains available day and night. There is a public toilet but the key is with the station master

One of the calm place in the ernamkulam highway with all stuff of alappuzha district. Cherthala railway station is almost 1 km apart form the town.

Good railway station. Only a few trains stops at this station. Most of the express trains going through Cherthala during morning and evening stops here. But at other times (that is between 10 am and 4.30 pm and from 11 to 4) trains are far less. The station is located on the Cherthala By-Pass. It's only connected to Cherthala with a few private buses. Most ordinary ksrtc bus do not ply through this route. Only ksrtc superfast and higher rated buses ply stops here. It does have autorickshaw connectivity. Parking space is available though it is rather limited

Calm railway station except for peak hours. Long distance trains come to the second platform, which creates an issue for senior citizens
