Located away from the city near Cantonment area. It’s very peaceful. The temple is beautifully built and well maintained. The best part is this temple is not overcrowded like other temples. You can easily sit and spend some peaceful time here.

It’s a beautiful and serene place on the outskirts of the ‘City Beautiful’. We visited this place on a weekend. It’s not crowded and there is enough space to park your vehicle. The temple area is surrounded by tall trees. It adds to its serene and peaceful aura.

Visited first time. Heard it's story and came to know about that Chandigarh has been named on the name of Chandi Mata. Very quiet and outside the main city. If you go then sit there for sometime to enjoy silence there.

It's nice to come here, I chandigarh to meet someone but luckily he don't come in time so I just visited to "Mata ka Mandir", It's was awesome experience to be here. People also called it MANSA MATA it's meant "man ki icha janne wali mata". It's was a very old temple named Chandi Mata Temple. It's situated 10-15km outside of chandigarh on kalka-shimla road and almost 8-10 away from panchkula.
It's lovely to be here.

It's a good temple.. peaceful and tucked away in nature.. Google shows the wrong location, so if you are traveling from chandigarh, you need to cross the toll plaza after panchkula at chandigarh kalka road.. n then it's on your left .. it is open atleast till 7.45pm .. take along any offerings if u need to cz there not no shops around.. overall a good experience

This temple is located on the main Delhi - Kalka highway, in Panchkula about 7 km from Mani Majra bus stop in Chandigarh.
Chandi is the 'angry, terrible and passionate' form of the goddess Durga.
Generally this temple is not very crowded, but during the Navaratras, the footfalls reputedly touch lakhs daily for each of the nine days of the festival.

It is an amazing experience to take the darshan of Chandi Mata ji. It is believed that the name of the "City Beautiful" as Chandigarh is kept after Chandi Mata where Chandi denote Chandi Mata and Garh denote the place to live and in whole as Chandi Mata ka ghar. The temple is surrounded by lush greenery and very peaceful, you feel like meditating. Really blessed with the darshan of Chandi Mata ji !
The compound is so neat and clean. As this temple is also part of the Shri Mansa devi shrin board. There are all sorts of facilities like drinking water, toilets, jodi seva, Prasad, parking, and a small garden.

A must visit if you are in Chandigarh.
