I have always heard that how amazing their Swiss Rolls are so finally had the chance to try them out. I haven’t had such creamy, refreshing, minty flavoured swiss rolls before and feel that it’s a must try for everyone. I personally am not a big fan of white cream and if you are one of those persons too I am certain that you would not have the same feeling while eating their swiss rolls.

Capital bakery was made in 1974 and one of the known old spots of Chandigarh. It is famous for its unbelievably soft and creamy Swiss Rolls which you can get at just ₹30. People come from all around the tricity just to have that Swiss Roll.

One of the iconic outlets of Chandigarh which has been there for close to 50 years. It's not a fancy bakery and maintains the charm of 90s. Swiss rolls are very very popular here and they were fresh and creamy.

They also sell bakery items, breads etc. along with pastries, cream rolls and cakes. Overall it offers excellent value for money.

I just loved there swiss rolls. My colleague brought them to me once but then i visited the shop personally. Amazing taste really appreciate for there services. Tge staff on the counter and on cash counter both were courteous. From a small shop that has decades of experience. If i remeber correctly, then they have being in this business and brand for more than 70 years now.

A must recommended shop.

Good place to have pastry and cakes. Swiss rolls of this shop is a must try. Yes they are really small in size and you need 2-3 to satisfy your craving.

I tried paneer kulcha and its not that great. But yes swiss rolls are must you can try them.

Was looking for An old bakery of Panjim and I came across this place where I picked really good plum cake and Christmas sweets.

I suppose the quality of service is inversely proportionate to the quality of the baking. If you're making good stuff then the business will flow irrespective of service.
Bakeries in Goa anyway are quite good and this one didn't disappoint.
Recommended for anyone looking to take back some treats from Goa....

Not a fancy bakery to opt but most probably the best in town and that too in cheap prices.Quality of each item is so good and fresh that you can’t resist going back and having it again. Their best sellers are Swiss rolls,pastries and cream rolls

It's an old bakery of our city beautiful located in lush green sector 10 of chd. We went there to try their famous Swiss rolls. It was damn delicious. We also bought the peanut and bran cookies 😀. No sitting space inside. Digital payments not accepted. Parking space outside is limited. The staff was humble and supportive. They deals in cookies, cakes, pastries, etc.

I would say one of this underrated and unrecognised bakery in Chandigarh.

Food quality is so good as compare to prices. I would suggest that you should try pastries and cakes over here rather than high profile shops (would not mention names here, but we all know).

Fresh pastries - red velvet, chocolate, pineapple. Swills rolls, chocolate rolls, cakes.

You will find homemade fresh baked biscuits here in affordable prices.

Also, must try there cheese and aloo patties.

Staff is so friendly and patient. Which make me visit there again and again.

One drawback (or will say because of budget constraints) they did not have sitting area. Otherwise food is up to the mark for the price range

Swiss roll, patties taste are awesome. Once if you are in this area and you are fond of food. you will like it. Unfortunately they don't have option of home delivery.

Swiss rolls are a must try here, it's a simple looking bakery nothing fancy but the product speaks for itself and bakeries popularity.

Iconic bakery full of character in Chandigarh. The Swiss rolls are soft and absolutely melt in the mouth. The patties are incredible too, crusty and wonderful. An important part of the Chandigarh vibe.

The capital bakery is considered one of the oldest bakeries in the Chandigarh. It is located near willow Caffe at sector-10, Chandigah. Earlier they were used to make breads 🍞🥖 and other bakery products only. But with passage of the time they started offering wide variety of products like Cakes 🍰, biscuits 🍪 cookies 🍪, breads 🍞, Rusks, patty, etc. they have years old experience in bakery products which can be seen and felt from its products…

Best for Swiss Rolls ( Rs.30). Red velvet and chocolate roll(40) also good but not a match to Swiss roll. Eggless cake also available on order. Coconut big Cookies ( Chrome Cookies Rs. 400/kg)are super great. 99 % things are pros. Only cons./issue is they avoid taking online payments. Mostly older people manage the cash hence they prefer just cash.
