This is the best maritime institute for all post sea courses and competency courses from 2nd mate to Master’s, its the oldest post sea intitute run by government of india, all senior nautical officer’s from mmd have taught here, Capt subramanian was the principle here decades back. It has a very soectacular hostel with family rooms also, nice location with good sea view, near to all south bombay locations. I have done all my courses from here and have great memories.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course follows semester system and has a duration of 3 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

The Placement Cell and provides students with lots of opportunities. There are internships for the students and jobs too. Many firms come and recruit the meritorious students. They also arrange for guest lectures by professionals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is around 2 lakh 30 thousand which is quiet expensive. However, they provide with very good education and facilities. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees can be afforded as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

I studied in that college. Left in 1993. After long time I visited college to see it totally different. Completely changed. Good experience to see After 1993 pass out.
