I had my driving test last week and i cleared it. you should focus on the signals and signs boards so that you can according to given instructions. Give indicators properly...all the best😇

I visit there frequently and one can walk in there but no vehicles allowed..not even bycle to ride there since new camera sensors have been installed there so...one can take their bycle across the park to another one but riding there is not possible. Good for walking for small children to play around. One can even workout but without damaging anything important what related to government.

Lovely place, polite and honest staff. Driving test of two and four wheeler is conducted here on all working days. Please know the driving map on YouTube before appearing for the same. It will make you easier for all.

you have to visit if you want your driving licence in Chandigarh. lovely park. you can see lots of peacock. waiting for whole day but once you pass the driving test, you feel like you are in the heaven.

I went to pass my driving licence exam and it was a great place to sit and relax till I got my turn to drive. However it is not allowed to drive car without an appointment. So make sure if you want to practice for your driving licence exam, you wouldn't be allowed.

It is a place where RTO conduct test for regular driving test. They are very cooperative. I went there for my son's regular driving licence test.

Good place to learn safe driving tips

It is a very good place for mind peace, and hence for a test like Driving test. The location is in sector 23's Park, hence is totally green. Appointment time doesn't matter...Try reaching between 9:15 - 9:30 because after 9:30 there is long line of cars. Just carry your Learning license, Form 2, Vaccination Certificate, Appointment copy. Collect your token and get your photo done with car or 2 wheeler. Test is easy if rules followed properly. Practice reverse parking and car on bridge before hand. driving test

The park is one of different kind. The place is good to teach traffic rules to kids and they can learn riding their cycles here.

The traffic police department is doing good job in maintaining it. They used to have driving test here. I got my license from this place only. Before handing over the DL, they showed a movie to make people understand importance of driving rules.

#Few Points for first timers who are going for 4-Wheeler Driving Test -

*Wearing shoes is compulsory. No token will be given if you do not wear shoes.

*Try to reach around 9am irrespective of the appointment time. (Tokens are given in first come first serve basis provided you have a valid appointment)

*Wait in queue for the Photo to be taken along with the vehicle.

*Then they will tell you to go and get the RFID Token.

*After that they will instruct for the test.

*After completion of test wait for some time for declaration of result.

Tips for Test -

*Try not to stop the vehicle anywhere. (Most Important) They failed me for this at the U-Turn.

*Try to ace the reverse parking within the time limit of 3 minutes without any hit or vehicle going out of track.

*Follow the traffic rules, like indicators as and when required.

*Stop, Look and Go at intersections.

*Follow the traffic lights around the Zebra Crossings.

*Try to have the vehicle in the track all the time as any part of vehicle, tyre or bumper, outside track will be flagged.

*On the ramp you will have to have the vehicle stopping in the marked line.

Location Review : It is a very good place for mind peace, and hence for a test like Driving test. The location is in sector 23's Park, hence is totally green.

Driving Test Important Tip : The sensors' positions are so helpful for us, the sensors are only for road boundaries hence, no need to worry about turns (No Sensors at Turning Points).
-> Just drive on the centre of the road.
-> No sensors at all on the Bridge.

I analysed the whole track, hence go with confidence, but going one day before the test in the evening to see yourself, the driving track, is highly Recommended. All the Best!

I loved this place as a kid. Been a very long time since I saw this park like over 20 years ago may be. I have vague memories of this park having very small roads and traffic lights where children used to ride bicycles and learn about traffic rules at an early age. Very creative of the city administration to have such a place for the children to learn about traffic rules at a younger age.

The park used to have lots of greenery as it was full of trees back then.

I will try to check it out again soon.
