SPAR Supermarket

Prettiest inner-city SPAR I’ve been in on any trip to Europe. Usually I’ve found them to be unattractive closets, as in Dublin or London for example.

Here I found Lemon Coke, bought a sample of fresh salami on sale from the deli, and snapped a photo of the coffee shop, a spot that reminded me a little of the second floor of the Musee D’Orsay in Paris.

A great range of products and fresh produce. The store is bright, clean, tidy and well organised. the staff are helpful and the self-checkouts are easy to use.

This Spar in Budapest has it all. Bit of a learning curve with buying pastries but a very kind gentleman helped us out. Located in the market.

Very convienent supermarket with a reasonable price and you can find what you need there.

I dropped by this supermarket almost everyday, when I was staying in Budapest several years ago. It's so convenient and nice. Fresh foods and daily necessities were available at reasonable prices. I loved this place.

Spar is Spar, big and professional supermarket as usual!

Wide range of products to choose from, and the isles arrange nicely. Easy to use self check out with staffs around to help. Easy access from the metro and numerous busses, with a nice view of The Parliament on the other side.

Large sized market, lots of options.

Good location, wide offer, short queues. Prices were also good. We visited this store several times during Redbull Air race. All you need to survive 2 days outside :)

Sells pretty much everything and the self service tills are available in English!

Prime location and good collection of items , well spaced to shop with ease even during peak time.

I always choose Spar for cold cuts — well, if there are only supermarkets to choose from.
This particular store is large enough to accommodate a nice selection of goods.

Very large and well stocked supermarket Batthyány tér metro station open till late and also on Sundays.
