Ran into this place while vacationing. Service was excellent and food was yummy. I order the carbonara, which was creamy and yet not so creamy, it was perfect! It's small but great!

Really friendly and attentive staff, very relaxed atmosphere, piano playing in the background while your eating, the food was really well presented and very nice, also were the cocktails, well worth a visit if your in that area

Excellent service, great food. The owner is also an author and he gave us one of his books regarding the history of Hungary. Reasonable prices. Food quality was excellent. The violinist and the pianist were very nice. Totally recommend this place.

I’ve never been compelled to write a Google review until now— this restaurant deserves appraisal! It’s the best one we’ve experienced in all of Budapest, and you’re definitely in for a treat if you choose to go here.
We were greeted with traditional piano music and then were introduced to wonderful violin music and Hungarian dances from talented performers. All of the food we ordered was perfectly cooked, and the wait staff was polite and attentive. The owner of the restaurant, Rick also surprised us with a signed copy of his book! As a tourist, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who is appreciative of performance arts and wants to try some delicious food!

Had a lovely meal. I had a argentin steak and i must say its the best i have ever had. My partner had the 5 meat surprise and also said it was amazing. There was i duo playing all night. A pianist and a violinist. A bit later on a traditional dancing duo came out and was a delight to watch. They interacted with us and looked like they thoroughly enjoyed what they was doing. I recommend this restaurant for fantastic food and entertainment.

Don't be fooled if it's quiet inside! The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely!!! Especially the manager, what a lovely guy and even gave me and my girlfriend a book on the history of Budapest written by the owner as a gift! Perfect location and amazing steak on a hot stone!!

Superb food. The creme sea food soup is superb. The meat on a hot stone is delicious. We tried duck and pork - both are great.
Life music since 19:00. Folk dances from 20:00 to 21:00. Very professional.

The steaks there were excellent! They were served on hot stones which was something new for us. Also we really enjoyed the traditional dancing there, getting a taste of the culture and a with very friendly service!

The name sounds much bigger than this lovely little restaurant really is. Whats absolutely big? The taste of the steaks and the ambiance. Live piano music and more. Top favorite restaurant on our trip.

Just back from Budapest where we spent our last night here. Steak on the stone is their specialty.The traditional dancing and both the singer and panio and violinist were brilliant a night I will never forget

Visited this restaurant with friends whilst visiting Budapest the steaks we had were the best we have tasted for a long time. Staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere.
