It was good, but number one, I tried kebab wrap and baklava

Ive been here a few times and the food has always been pretty good. Stopped in today and had a gyro, lentil soup and a side dish, eggplant with yogurt. And I have to say, it would be worth just coming in here for a plate of their eggplant with yogurt, a small plate (which is a lot) was only 600 Ft so about $2.00, simply amazing flavor!

Update April 2024.... Still delicious, also their food is always fresh and they are nice to deal with, plenty of room in the dinning room and a large selection to choose from. And unlike other gyro places in the city the gyro is always fresh and not cold, plus they have French fries.

One of my favourite halal Turkish restaurants in Budapest. The food taste great, the service is fast and staff are good. The price is reasonable, not too expensive. The place is clean, it has toilet, two levels of dining area and have air conditioner for hot summer. All in all, I have been to this place many times and never got bad experience. Totally recommended.

My husband and I love this place! Very unassuming, but everything is fresh and tasty, staff are great and gave us to try the beetroot salad before we got it to take away.
We have tried several dishes now…the favourite are the chicken bechamel and eggplant with yoghurt from the salad selection.

For just $5.35 I got a huge portion of gyros (plate option). You can choose the side dish (potato, rice etc) and meat (chicken etc). The food was fresh and tasty. I will visit again and try other dishes.

The toilet was clean.

Update: gyros with tea (just 1350 HUF) became my favourite food here 😊

The oven baked pasta what can I say you have to try its that good. Also the calf doner kebab. All meats from the charcoal are great, these taste so good.

Tasty food in reasonable price. We ate three times in two days. Chicken kabab platter and lamb steak platter were the best (7/10 EUR per platter if you convert the money from HUF). A small glass of Ayran was less than 1 EUR. The place is very reachable from Hungarian Parliament and Margaret Island. Recommended the place happily :).

I went with my friends during month of Ramadan.Food was amazing and cheaper compared to gala restaurants in Debrecen.I ordered something which took them a while to prepare but the food was good.You can also get prepared food.Place was crowded,which tells about the restaurant reputation.

Went to try after seeing a line at the entrance... yes, great authentic spot, buffet and menu with clean super fast service. Amazing selection of most traditional Turkish dishes. No alcohol!

Food is very tasty and rich for flavors, portions are huge (which I really like) and very good staff. There was a Hungarian woman who gave us our food with such a big smile) Toilets are not good though.

It's actually a cafe - but a very good one, with large choice of tasty food, very reasonable prices, quite a lot of space, and large windows to see a quiet cozy street of Pest.

I particularly liked their fruit soup, bean soup, and the Greek salad.

Probably the best quality-price ratio food in Budapest, especially considering how close it is to the centre. Would highly recommend. Genuinely delicious food and has a local atmosphere that tourist restaurants tend to miss out on.

Great value for money and very tasty food with huge portions. I go there each time I visit Budapest, it’s my top pick in the city center. Friendly staff, you should definitely give it a try!

My forever favorite Turkish restaurant, and I’ve been there a million times. The dishes I keep ordering are chicken sis kebab and Urfa Adana kebab with bulgur. Accompanied with an apple tea. It never disappoints.

I had lunch here today, ordered chicken doner plate. Fast and tasty, a large generous portion for a very reasonable price. A large spacious hall and tables outside. There is no alcohol on sale! Definitely recommend.
