Friendly stuff with a very good service, keen to ask how the food quality.
The taste of food is very good, and homemade juice is fresh and tasty.
Prices are reasonable compared to the quality and portions.

Ordered a bean soup and the old Paloć's. The sour cream balanced the tardiness of the bean, a very comforting soup in the winter, and the main dish was fascinating too! Love the white paprika, and the pullet, which seems like made up of potatos. The service and the staff were amicable too!

We have been staying in central Budapest and this was much less touristy and much better value. Menu still available in English and waiters were friendly and spoke English.

Menu included local Hungarian options as well as international favourites. Bean soup and quesedillas were both delicious.

Got here on the late side, but had a verry great dinner. Staff spoke good english, and where polite. food was verry good, and not expencive at all! they also have a great menu, with local dishes and great flavors.

Deffinitly worth going here!

Cozy restaurant with wooden furniture and decoration. The stuff is polite, the service is quick. We tried 3 kind of soup and the salmon, the deer stew and one more dish, they all were delicious

Vary good place for diner with friends. The food is tasty, and the vine is very good. You may order glass of vine, and the price is on deciliter. Interior is wooden in old style.

Very good value for money. We tried the 4 person shared dish with tons of meat. Most of it was great, only small parts of the meat was dry.

Fantastic hungarian cuisine. Competitive prices for a plate so well done. If you are looking to stuff yourself silly and enjoy hungarian draft beer, this is a place for you. Breaded meat - chicken, pork, turkey, breaded cheese - heavy but delicious. Well worth the extra calories.

Amazing restaurant, thought there's no English translation of menu, waiters do speak English and ready to help. National food is delicious, one portion is usually big enough to split between two people and prices are pretty modest! Totally recommend for visiting if you crave to taste good cuisine.

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time, tonight, as i was checked in to a nearby hotel. I can honestly say that the food was absolutely awesome. Best bean soup with knuckle i ever had, excellent steak ( the whole presentation of "Old paloc's favorite" is great). Also, thank you for the extra cutlery 😁 . If you're in Budapest you should definitely try the food at Fanyuvo!

Very good place to discover Hungarian food. the quality is there as well as the service. there has always been this gentleman waiter ready to take care of people in the restaurant and us! also the manager is very nice and very welcoming! Thanks!

Try fanyuvo plate for 2 persons. It is full of meat. Prices are a little bit higher than the other Budapest restaurants.

Place outside of the beaten touristic side of Budapest - which is fantastic.

As for food: Bean Soup and Paloc’s Favourite is a great choice to try local cuisine.

It was a beautiful experience of Hungarian flavours and hospitality, food was beautifully cooked had the platter for two which did three of us , the soup in the giant crusty roll was really really tasty and the dessert was a cream and sponge with chocolate sauce beautiful and very moorish, very reasonably priced considering the quality and ambience of the place I would recommend this to everyone I know for sure .

Went without reservation. The food was very good and portions were really big. The service was so good too. My friends loved the environment. The furniture gave us a "game of thrones" adventure feeling. Will definitely go back. My only recommendation is to add more options for the deserts. Overall, very good experience. Thanks to the nice hosts.

Delicious food, good price, friendly staff, extraordinary decor!

Amazing Hungarian food! Super large portions, good service. The wood decoration is awesome looking. The atmosphere is easy and it's not packed with tourists, overall is a great place to enjoy a quiet meal with friends or family.
