Becketts Irish Bar & Restaurant

We have been here every night since we came to Budapest. I drink vodka and diet 7up with a slice of lime but what makes this an absolute lovely drink here is that they squeeze the lime in the glass and leave the slices there. It's really tasty. I know I could ask but I didn't have too. The staff are friendly and very nice. Wood definitely recommend the chicken wings they are amazing

Passing by this bar, we decide to only drink a beer and continue walking, but the guys that work over there were so sympathetic and so honest that we came back the other day, and as Irish bar we arrive on the second day with a soccer game and the bar was full of people.

It's a nice Irish bar, good atmosphere, good beers, I had a burger with crisps - it was good, but sadly I felt the taste of overused oil, especially on the chips. For me, what truly made this place stand out is the staff - bartender Reesa (Risa?) was friendly and helpful, it's worth visiting just to see her smile and to hear her laugh, lots of positive energy guaranteed! Def gonna go back there one day to grab a pint!

I’ve been to many countries and many Irish Pubs. This place has the second best Kilkenny I’ve ever had. The best was in Ireland itself, that’s how good it is here. Beyond impressed with the pour and quality of the beer.

Great atmosphere and great staff!! We asked for playing cards and we got them with a smile, we and enjoyed our beer, though, it did take quite a while before we received them. But the kindness of the staff made up for the long time waiting on our drinks.

We couldn’t get into any other place as we didn’t have a reservation so tried our luck at the Irish bar. What an awesome surprise. Great staff. The drinks are what you’d expect from an Irish bar. The food…well above expectations. Well worth a visit.

If you don't want another pink cherry, berry peary flavoured hungarian beer - rely on good old Irish pubs like this one. Ah yes, the beer is blonde or dark - and nothing else...

One of my favorite pubs in Budapest. Always quiet in the afternoon for a nice lunch and Guinness. I’ve lived in Dublin a few years and quite happy with the quality of pints here.

Great Irish Boozer in heart of Budapest. Good beer selection incl Guinness. Plenty of Irish Whiskies too. Serve decent food too...didn't try any but colleagues polished their food up rapidly! Seating in and out. Plenty of TVs to watch sports... including Premiership games plus rugby when it starts.

Beautiful Irish pub in the middle of the touristic area. Good prices. Nice environment and friend staff. The employees speak English and Hungarian.

Good Irish bar, and a choice of screens showing sport. Had a good selection of drinks on tap. A little pricier in comparison to another Irish bar in the area (though by no means expensive), but a better experience overall.

This is a great propper irish pub. Lovely atmosphere. We watched the Irish rugby match on a sat night which was rammed but still able to get a drink. We saw food coming out and it looked great so had to come back the next day to try some and it did not disappoint. Definitely pub grub at its finest. Highly recommend if nearby.
