A friendly and cordial restaurant. Shout-out to Elvis for being incredibly attentive and courteous.
The food was absolutely amazing. I'm usually not a big fan of beef stews but this was so tender and juicy. My friend had the chicken paprika and was pan fried to perfection- not dry at all. The goulash soup was hearty, definitely recommended

Lovely evening spent at this restaurant. It is a good idea to book in advance to avoid disappointment, as it can be busy.

Excellent vibe and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, and attentive service from the team. Regarding the food, the slow cooked beef stew is to die for, but we also enjoyed the soup and the Hungarian sausages, and not least the apple strudel!!

Food was INCREDIBLE best beef I have ever tasted, pulse salad is amazing and we also had the salami and sausage appetiser. Service was amazing we had an wonderful server who was so attentive and kind, super fast service and lovely attention to detail. Come here if you are in Budapest!!!!!

The best goulash I've tasted. A great atmosphere and high quality overall, it was amazing. The server was super friendly, he even treated us with a free palinka in the end. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend if you're in Budapest.

Excellent place! Loved the Hungarian fare with great quality ingredients and lovely wines to pair. Our server was excellent and he had good reccomendations for us. A hidden gem in an otherwise touristy area. Make reservations or go early.

Great place serving great food. Super nice staff and generous portions. We had a goulash soup, paprika chicken and roast pork neck - all tasted fantastic. Would recommend.

Great foot and service. Goulash soup and slow-cooked beef stew were amazing. We even got a Palinka shot on the house. Thank you. Lovely dinner. A bit warm inside though if I may comment.

Wonderful restaurant serving Hungarian cuisine. We really wanted to try the local goulash soup and beef goulash, as well as the chicken paprikash. All dishes were delicious, the meat simply melted in your mouth. For dessert, I preferred homemade apple strudel, and my friend preferred cottage cheese dumplings. We left happy and full. It's definitely worth coming here and trying it all.

Best slow cooked pork I ever had, and paired with innovative sauerkraut that's mixed with crunchy barley. Then there's the amazing chicken served with crepe immersed in this house made paprika sauce. The quality and the efforts put into the meats would have been hours. I can't figure out their secret to the chicken, braised then oven or boiled then pan fried but there's no signs of grilling. This is top notch Hungarian cuisine served with class. And the home made strudel is with cinnamon. And they have local brews. Plus, wonderful service and reasonable prices.

The pork was the most wonderful and tender pork I had ever eaten. Incredible. Service very friendly even though we didn’t speak Hungarian. Atmosphere suitable for people to have a conversation. Good thing I don’t like here otherwise would come way too often.

Fantastic experience throughout. Great selection of high quality dishes. We started with the Hungarian sausage and coleslaw, proceeded by the chicken breast with chicken cracking for main. The apple strudel dessert was phenomenal.

Goulash soup was very delicious. We tried beef tartare first and although it was raw, we could eat it. Finally, I order beef sausage, it was very spicy🌶 but I like it.

The best restaurant we have been to in our visit to Budapest. Great food, great service. We ordered the beef stew and duck. Both were excellent.

I would totally recommend this place. Food is very tasty and service is super quick. We tried the salami mix as appetiser and the gourmet stew and everything was delicious. Also, people are welcoming and nice. I really appreciate it did not feel like a touristic place.

Such a great, affordable, authentic dinner option! Popular and touristy for a reason. Menu options are delicious, our server (maybe the owner?) was helpful, honest, and quite funny. Food came quick, wine was a great pairing, and the Dreher beer was fresh. Nice open air seating inside but the sidewalk seating is also nice on a warm evening. Can’t recommend enough!

First time visiting Budapest and found this gem thanks to all the raving reviews. Great dinner and wonderful wine recommendation. Love the chicken - crispy and the pasta roll was a great surprise.

Delicious food & great friendly service. Lovely warming Goulash and the duck / beef meat was so tender. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!
