Fortuna Boat Hotel Budapest

We stayed in January and absolutely loved it. It had a warm,cosy feel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The cabin was very clean and the beds comfortable. The location was ideal for sightseeing. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was regularly maintained and there was something for everyone. We would not hesitate I staying again

Great service. Everyone from the cafeteria staff to the front desk and room service. Everyone is super kind and was more than willing to help with anything we needed. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay. I think the one con would be how tight the rooms can be with a lot of luggage but we made it work and just absolutely loved waking up to the view of the water.
NOTE: don’t worry about seasickness at all! I get seasickness and motion sickness super easily and did not feel the boat move at all except when I was out on the deck. Rooms are comfortable and warm given we visited in December! Definitely worth it.

Excellent value for money boat hotel. Extremely close to the Prosecco cruise ! Superb breakfast . Take a room with a Danube view. Extremely romantic .

This hotel was perfect for me and my friend's three day trip to Budapest! We stayed two nights—the breakfast buffet each morning was incredible and the beds were very comfortable! For those who get seasick, I didn't feel the boat move a single time so it shouldn't be a problem!

The staff are incredibly nice and the service we recieved was top notch. Do bear in mind, there is a very small "tourist tax" (for us it was 1 euro), but the website we booked with told us about this beforehand. I highly recommend this boat hotel!

Check in time was 3pm, I got there a little early and the staff gave me great information on the area so I was able to enjoy the city while waiting on my room. Very accommodating. Can use U.S dollars, Hungarian franks, or Euros. Very unique experience!

Great little hotel, stayed here for 4 nights and no issues, the ground rooms (one we had) were pretty spacious although our friends had a first floor room and it wasn’t as big, but still a great little room, chap on reception really helpful, just be careful when going into breakfast, we went in every morning for tea but they tried charging us for 4 breakfasts on check out, even though we told the waitress and they witnessed us getting tea’s, they took them off when checking out so no issues, just an heads up.

Great place, great people who made our stay extremely pleasant. Warm, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, the location of the "boatel" is perfect.

Love this hotel. Great and safe location. Not too touristy so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Breakfast is amazing!! Staff are awesome too.

Clean, spacious rooms (for a boat hotel) with nice staff and accessible price. The breakfast is a quite varied buffet which I think is worth the 10 euros, and the location is easily accessible via public transit from the nearby park, with just a bit of walking. We would be glad to stay there again next time we're in Budapest!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic view, especially at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean, nice interior. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend !

I was here a few days for an event, I didn't overstay but we spent a considerable amount of time on the boat. The boat has a great atmosphere, kind of romantic, old and classy. The receptionist was nice. I think it could use a renovation regarding the insides but it was still a great atmosphere. View was of course beautiful! It was a great experience!

Great place to stay! Rooms are not so big, but it is pretty normal on boat ;) Prices are really nice and location is just amazing. No matter which part of Budapest you would like to visit, Fortuna is great starting point. Breakfast is good enough and staff is ver helpful.

We found this to be a really interesting place to stay- definitely recommend! The rooms were well equipped and comfortable, and we found the location perfect, a little outside of the centre but very quiet and with lots of cafés and bars nearby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We had a lovely 5 day stay here. On arrival we got a free upgraded to a river side room which was a lovely surprise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and adequate. Convient location.

For one night only. Visiting for the grand prix .. great surprise for me as somebody else booked it . Just the ticket... well done all onboard staff it was a pleasure.

Very unique hotel on the Danube River. The view is great, and it's also not too far from public transport. Breakfast is very good also.

Nice small but clean and comfortable typical boat-style rooms with tv and very good wifi, in half an hour walk from the center and main siteseeings, but very close to the sportively active river island.

Not frst time here, it just confirms how great place is.
