Rosé Restaurant

The beautiful waitress suggest a vegetable soup and chicken paprika with home make pasta for my yesterday night dinner. She has prepared a lovely cocktail soda mint for my drink. The drinks and food served were very nice.
I won't forget, there were 2 gentlemens playing music. One of them playing violin and the other one I not sure the name of instrument. They dedicated 2 chinese music to me. I really appreciated it.
I like this restaurant. No fancy, just simple and nice. I have a very nice dinner last night.

We happened upon this place by chance, tucked off on a side road away from the busy city center. I am so glad we decided to stop in for dinner, dessert and wine! Great prices, excellent service and DELICIOUS food. Their menu offers a variety of traditional cuisines sprinkled with a few speciality dishes. I enjoyed the Goulash Soup, Caesar Salad and sponge cake. Would definitely return! Live music as well that was the perfect touch.

Nice local restaurant with tasty food and very good service. Had dinner here yesterday night and came back today. House wine is also very good. There is live music every night, yesterday was a duet.

I must say I was first very skeptical to go as 1st this was advertised/recommended by our hotel (work together to promote their business as it's not doing well?). 2nd there's a 12% service fees added to the bill; I read online that we should be avoiding places with mandatory service fees as tips are already guaranteed then they wouldn't work hard for their tips (which makes sense); however, this place was wonderful. Service was excellent and food was good; I had the chicken parikash and it was not very flavorful but perhaps that's the way it is? My friend ordered the chicken breast wrapped with bacon and it was so tasty and juicy! Live music is definitely a plus! We sat right behind the band and when they were getting started, I thought it was going to be loud but no, the classical that they played was so beautiful. When the band found out we are from New York, they played "New York, New York" in front of us. It was one of the most romantic nights I have had. I tried hard to think of a reason to not to give this place the last star (5) but I simply can't find one so why not? Highly recommend. Would definitely go back.

Google "best Hungarian restaurant in Budapest" and this unassuming little place comes right on top. With so many options it can be hard to choose, but for value, authenticity and atmosphere; choose Rosé! Go for the delicious authentic food, stay for the adorable live Hungarian music (on our visit a duo on violin and cimbalom). They also have a great wine selection. I loved our experience and will 100% be back next time!

Fantastic from beginning to end. It's a family restaurant with a warm welcome. The night we went was live violinist playing really well. The food came well presented and was delicious. Definitely a place to eat when you visit Budapest

Delicious! Not a local so can’t speak to the “true” or “best in city-ness” of it.... but we found the whole experience very nice.

Food was hot, flavorful and delivered at the perfect pace. Friendly and attentive service without being overbearing.

Prices are aight let elevated but it’s a somewhat nicer/romantic spot with brilliant, live music at 7pm. House rose was tasty but appeared watered down, but for the price was not an issue.

Violin man I was dreading from reviews, however he was ok. He came near us, played lovely music and very pleasant.

Oh my god, this was the nicest dinner I've ever had in my life. Amaaazing food, incredible service, and the most beautifully talented and moving musicians accompanying your dinner. Swoon. Please go here if you want a slice of Hungary. And tip them awesomely. They're LOVELY. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Budapest.

Fabulous food, efficient wait service, cozy area. Would definitely recommend to others seeking authentic affordable Hungarian food and we would go again. Dinner hours also included elegant live music from violin and piano like xylophonist.

Great food and service. The servers were really nice and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I had a delicious Mediterranean chicken breast with a very well made mojito. Can’t forget to mention beautiful live music!

My girlfriend and I chose this place as it had pretty good reviews on Google. We parked right out front and easily found a table inside. The decor is not what we expected (i.e. it was not very intimate) as the centerpiece of the main room is the bar. The rest of the place was nice, and the live violin music was really nice. The waiter was very nice and spoke great English, and the food we ordered was very delicious. For a reasonable price I thought it was a good choice.

Note: Parking is free outside the restaurant after 8pm
