Strudel Hugó

I was very impressed by the wide assortment of strudel flavors. We tried the cheese, pumpkin, and sour cherry flavors, which I would strongly suggest! Super delicious and reasonably priced.

Wonderfully fresh strudel, plenty of flavours and options. The couple in charge speaks a bit of English and they are extremely welcoming and friendly.
Coffee is good and prices are great.

Excellent strudel in a simple but homey atmosphere - a much more authentic experience than the overhyped New York Café next door.

I have not tried all the strudel in Budapest but this is the best I have had. If you have time go here!!! Couldn't wait to get back to our hotel to eat it!

The cherry is incredible. But i don't think they sell anything bad. In a city where excellent bread and pastry is available, if you search it out... this is a shining beacon of deliciousness. Highly recommended.

It’s a no nonsense place that serves the best strudel I have ever had. The fillings are rich and full of flavour wrapped in ultra thin pastry which melts in your mouth. Hands down best strudel I’ve ever had.

Lovely quaint place, supply lots of homemade strudels, even sugary free ones! The coffee was top notch too :)

Just had the best apricot & quark (creamed cottage cheese) strudel ever. The fruit had beautiful flavour and the quark wasn’t too sweet. Perfect. Definitely coming back to try some of the other strudels on offer.

The place is on the corner of Wesselenyi utca. Enjoy European quick bites and refreshing beverages.The prices are reaonable, service is quick and strudels are super delicious.The cheese strudle called as 'Turosh retes' is phenomenal. They serve fresh fruit juices and take outs are also possible.

Huge lover of strudel, we went to this place to eat one.
I loved the apple strudel! Delicious, not too sweet, so satisfying!
This place deserves to be more spacious, there was only a little table (3-4 persons) available to eat in.
I strongly recommand this strudel shop!

Spent three days in Budapest, discovered it on the first day by accident and been coming back every day for freshly baked strudel every morning. Very delicious! Locals come here a lot and seem to buy them in bulk for take away. Would highly recommend. :)

Love this place, it bake with love. The owner is very nice and sample are available for you to try. Free tap drinking water in jar with cup is available for the customer as well. The challenges on this store is only have 1 table and a standing table.

At the first moment I was surprised that it was so little. But the lady behind the counter was so nice and welcoming so it directly felt quite cozy in there.
The selection of strudels was quite impressing: from classical ones filled with apple or other fruits up to savoury options, it made me hard to choose but the classic one with apple was really filling for breakfast. The coffee was delicious, too, and altogether very affordable.
So absolutely recommendable.

Nice and cosy place in the middle of the city. Strudel Hugo offers amazing coffee, super juices and strudels. The staff is very friendly too!
