A quality genuine experience for families or couples. Simple and Unique dishes, decent sized portions and excellent taste.

View is impressive BUT make sure you book early enough to take advantage of a window table. Strongly recommended.

If you are visiting Budapest dont miss it. Prices are reasonable for the quality it offers.

Dining here was a beautiful experience.
The food is interesting and unique. The restaurant clearly has a good and imaginative chef. The menu also includes a few good vegetarian options. I believe the menu changes monthly.
The service was friendly and efficient. The decor is relaxed and cosy. The view over (during our visit) the ice skating area and the castle gave almost a fairytale atmosphere. The prices were reasonable for such good quality. The music was relaxed and unobtrusive.
Very glad we went - highly recommended.

A great panoramic view of the castle with delicious & authentic food. The dessert is very nice and delicious. Hence, the live music made the experience even more memorable.

Had a lovely lunch here, the food was excellent, the desserts were tasty and the drinks were delicious! The staff was lovely and willing to help with anything! The menu was well labeled for allergens had had both gluten-free main dish and dessert options! 5 stars 😄

We found this site by chance. The truth is that we loved it, but the best thing was the guitarist who spent several hours enlivening the night with some charming songs. Our applause again for you. We will return another night!!

Clasic place at Varosligeti Park were you can enjoy a good meal or dessert with hot beverages and with a fantastic view. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere

Called here whilst out and about for a coffee and a cake, we weren't disappointed!! It's a very nice cafe, quite busy and very popular.
The food and drinks were very enjoyable - especially the hot chocolate!
Good views over the ice rink.

We came here for dinner.

The place ambience is very nice, and also it has a good views of the Vajdahunyad Castle.

We order the duck and it was good, well cooked, the meat is soft, making it easy and tasty to eat.

We stopped here after the thermal baths and were half expecting an overpriced tourist restaurant....how wrong we were. Tasty food and wine, friendly service and all reasonably priced. The picturesque view of the castle and ice rink was an added bonus.

We wanted a coffee and a dessert on a sunny afternoon and couldn't have found a better place. Márk gave us a lovely table with an amazing view and recommended us the best desserts to share. The coffee with a tiny cupcake was to die for.

We were here on Valentine's Day and they were very nice. Although we had problems with our table, they were helpful and immediately offered us 3 replacement tables. On Valentine's day! The food was excellent We were served by Adrienn, but the other waiters were also nice. I can only recommend this place

Located in the Városliget overlooking the Vajdahunyad Castle, it’s a perfect restaurant for every occasion. Every dish was delicious. The service was great, and the dishes arrived on time. I must say everything was spot on! You should try the pistachio cake with raspberry ice cream

We had a lovely time here, fantastic view of the ice rink and castle! Our server Adriana was very nice and patient with us (especially when it came to us splitting our bill up!) would definitely come back!

Baby friendly, there is a diaper station, comfortable high chair, toy corner, a separate menu for kids with photos - and my 1.5 year old loved her food! View is fantastic, great service, and you can park right in front of the restaurant. Will definitely recommend and come back! If you like fish: try citrus salmon

Nicely renovated cafe with a marvelous view. Watching the castle or right now, in winter, the ice-skaters is quite relaxing and enjoyable. The food was tasty, using fresh produce and the stay was paired with an excellent service.

They even have a small box with toys for children in one corner of the cafe, where you may find wooden toys and some pens.

Prices are high. For a sandwich with a neglectable side dish I paid ~ 15 €.

Can't fault anything - from the wonderful food to the impeccable service to the relaxed atmosphere, everything was excellent. Our server, Janos, really knocked it out of the park with his recommendations.

Please do yourself a favour and dine at Varosliget.
