I dont have enough words to describe how dinner here was amazing. From the moment when we entered the restaurant until the end everything was excellent. Food quality, presentation on the plate and service was absolutely outstanding. Whoever wants to feel same feeling should visit this place. Thumbs UP!!!

We visited this restaurant as a group of 9 people on a saturday evening. The introduction to the table was very good, the staff was very helpful with making big table for our group. The menu is diverse and we could not choose our meal at first, because there were lots of very good food options. Our waiter was very kind and helpful during the whole stay. The food was best we had, during our whole trip in Budapest, we had fish, steak, salads, pork, salmon, prawns and everything was really good and tasty. I must recommend this bistro as we were very satisfied with staff, food and location. 10/10

Brilliant food brilliant service. Mate, our waiter was fantastic. We ordered the duck and mushroom risotto which I would highly recommend. We then had the baileys white chocolate cake for desert. Best meal I have ever had all in all. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Budapest.

My first five stars rate. The location, the service, the place, the food, the taste, the quantity in the different dishes... And the price! Everything was amazing.

We tried only the Hungarian food, not the Bistro Kitchen.

What a great experience.., from the moment we arrived we were treated with respect and genuine kindness. The food was beautiful and very fresh and most importantly was exactly as described. Too many restaurants these days use wonderful words to describe their foods only to have their customers disappointed when they see or taste the item. Not so at Aurum. It’s great. The service is lovely. Best experience yet, food wise, we have had in Prague and Budapest.

We have eaten here about six times and have enjoyed superb food every time. The choice is excellent and the friendly knowledgeable staff worked hard to explain the dishes. Superb quality and excellent value for money. When we return we will come here straight away. Compliments to the chef and the wonderful waiters.

I've eaten here thrice recently for evening meals. Food is of great quality, the bbq ribs are excellent (and huge), and the Budapest style steak is also superb. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located on the street in front of the Basilica and right next to the folk dance performance place. Very tasty food which is worth the long wait. Desserts are impeccable. Prices slightly above average local restaurants though.

Was there two evenings in a row while visiting Budapest with my boyfriend. We liked everything (cheesecake with strawberry sauce was great), but we LOVED duck with risotto. Best duck ever!!! 😍😍😍 We highly recommend it! Risotto was amazing too.

The bistro is right next to the Basilica; yet it is not noisy.
We stopped for a beer break and sat on the shadded patio. Seats are very comfortable with added seat cushions.
Service is polite and they are fluent in German and English.
Great beers on tap.
The washrooms are very modern and clean.

Had a really nice experience at Aurum Bistro. Both the food and service were impeccable. The staff were friendly and all seemed to be impressively multilingual. I can highly recommend the pork medallions and the mascarpone with hot chocolate!

It is rather a casual restaurant with hearty meals. Very good for families too. Relaxed atmosphere. But the best part is the service: such a wonderful team. Very professional and friendly at the same place. Prices are very good.

The absolute best thing with the place is it's non smoking! It's the only outdoor terrasse I've found in Budapest where you don't get passive smoking outside.
As a bonus food and service was great.

The Aurum Bistro is a real good restaurant. The food is well prepared and one can see that food preparation, presentation and service are taken seriously. From the hostess to the toilets everything is accomodating and hospitality orientated. The Goulash was amazing and the location is super convenient for turists. Congratulations!!!!

Loved it. Didnt have a reservation but we were accommodated with no fuss after a short wait. I would recommend booking a table especially for the weekend. Great food and best service I received during my short stay. Left there a happy chappie
