We went for dinner here one evening in March and sat outside. The food was superb. We all ordered a cup of goulash soup - very tasty. I ordered the duck for my main meal and I was glad I did. The wine recommendation was very nice. We all purchased a bottle from the airport on departure. A lovely place to eat!

I came in expecting a tourist trap. The experience had me sad I was leaving. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful thanks to the talented musicians. You get a wonderful view of the Danube too. Would come back

It's been a long time since I wanted to come to this restaurant when I walked down the street and saw that they had classical music and catered to every table. Finally, when it was my birthday, we went to celebrate, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, I liked the two dishes that we ordered, and the dessert, and the fact that they actually came up to us and asked what melody we wanted to listen to and played for us. There was very pleasant friendly and attentive service. I recommend it to everyone who wants to touch the classics and be in a historically beautiful place!

We came to the restaurant for New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere was great, with musicians and a festive environment overall. We loved the food, and the attentiveness of the waiters.

Good food, some live music to spruce up the atmosphere as well! Duck leg was good although the sirloin steak was better with a decent amount of fat for flavour.

Very good Hungarian cuisine, great views on the Danube and Buda. We enjoyed every dishes, with special mention to the stuffed cabbage, the goulash soup and the paprika veal. Efficient service, reasonable price for the quality.

The view from this location was amazing!! If you are lucky you can be sitted on a table towards Buda Castel.
Food was great, I adored the salad with grilled cheese (too bad I found it on the last night there ) and the sweet wine (glass).
They also have live music,which is nice, but they might come to your table and sing for you. We personally don't enjoy it that much,but overall all it was nice .

I was there about a month ago with my wife, and this place was recommended to us by the walking tour guide when I asked him where could I get the best goulash in town.
I was not disappointed. We also had a really good red wine outside by the heat of the lamps with a beautiful view.

Pretty much your solid, expected Hungarian food next to the river in Budapest. There was live (classical) music during our dinner, excellent musicians, especially the violinist. The service was superb. We had various dishes from the Chef's Special, was decent but not exceptional. I stuck to the chicken with dumplings and was glad I did. Pro -tip: stick to the traditional dishes and you'll enjoy your meal. Go off grid, then it's a wildcard. The portions were very healthy and large. If you have a big appetite, you're good.

A fantastic restaurant with a majestic view. The restaurant is situated near the river on a walking street with trolleys passing by intermittently. The menu offers various Hungarian specialties. The goulash soup is exceptional and we came back the next day for more. Recommend reservations which can be made on the restaurant site. The staff emailed a confirmation the next day. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The menu and prices are available online on the restaurant site. We went during the week and there was live violin and accordion music.

Nice location for the Donau river view. Food meets the expectation and service is good. With the live music, the Donau river in summer is enjoyable

The BEST restaurant of all Budapest and surely one of the best of all Hungary. I spent a week with my wife in Budapest and this restaurant gave us an excellent expérience with like a group of musicians that played a song for my wife ("La bohème" from Charles Aznavour), the best roast pork I've never eat and many other things that gave us one of the best experience of my life. For the price, the value for money is really reasonable for a 5 star restaurant so I really recommend this restaurant.

Came in for an early dinner and was very happy with my experience. I had the goulash soup and duck breast. Such good flavors!

A lovely place to take a walk and some great pictures and just enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful city. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy a long the way.

Very friendly and dog friendly restaurant. Without reservation we got a very nice place with a beautiful Danube/Town view. The house specialties was very delicious: veal and dumplings. The starter: Hungarian specialties was very delicious. Espresso in the end was perfect. Funny, respectful waiters make as a unforgettable evening.

Very nice family owned restaurant right at the banks of the Danube. The food is very well made, the service is great, highly recommended!

Great goulash! I came here on a recommendation from my walking tour guide, it did not disappoint. 3,490 HUF ~ €9.3 euros for the goulash which is as expected for a nicer feeling waterfront restaurant.

One of our favorite meals in Budapest! The stuffed chicken and the duck were phenomenal.
