Hungarian restaurant with excellent food! Good wine collection! I am vegetarian and they have just 1 menu option for vegetarian in starter, soup and mains. I had red lentil soup with roasted Cauliflower. Too yum! In main course, I had Homemade piquant tomato gnocchi. That was okay. In dessert I had Eszterházy cake. That was out of the world! Must try!

They have a museum in basement which shows Hungarian houses with furniture, paintings, household items and other items to show peasant life! I have added a few photos of museum as well.

My first time to try Hungarian food and I was thoroughly pleased with the taste and quality of the food. I started with a pumpkin soup, followed by Chicken Paprikash and ended with a walnut cake for dessert. The restaurant was empty for the time of day (around 4 pm) so there was no wait. The waiter was quick to take my order and the food was quickly prepared and so delicious. The restaurant on the lower level has a museum featuring Hungarian history. I give this restaurant a 10 for quality, ambience, and price!

Really nice restaurant with great decor, a small museum like exhibit downstairs.
Food was very tasty and the local beer was really good. Apricot Pàlinka finished a great evening with a fun and nice waiter, Zoltan.

Maybe the best goulash soup in Budapest! You also have to try the chicken paprikash! For wine, leave it to the waiters they know best 👌

We had both dinner and lunch here during a recent stay in Budapest. Wonderful food and service. We dined with a family member who lives in Hungary and she said the menu was primarily traditional Hungarian cuisine. The atmosphere is more modern but a comfortable dining experience.

This restaurant was so good, we went back to back nights for dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant with a vintage feel and the food was amazing. Their shoulder steak, gnocchi and of course, goulash, was all delicious.

I was very impressed after visiting this restaurant. The food was 10/10, the service is perfect, the atmosphere around is also nice.
It seemed to me that this was the best place where I could taste paprikash.
The cocktails were good for a place that doesn't specialize in cocktails, but I would suggest taking wine instead.

I really enjoyed this place as a line chef of 10 years! From the bone marrow plate , which was one of the best I ever had. The Duck leg confit was also amazing! The traditional goulash was also great, very tender meat and full of flavor, everything was full of flavor nothing was near bad. On top of the great food my service for 2 days( because I came back the next day to try more items) I was here was top notch! Very much on top o floor their service ! Thank you I would recommend this place to anyone in the area! Also very affordable prices for such great dishes!

The place is wonderful. Delicious food. Professional and kind service. Downstairs there is like a small museum. Prices are normal for such quality. Mind that there is service charge, that seems to be 10% of the whole bill. Check well the prices of the wine, so not to be surprised at the end.

The restaurant is one of a kind, you cannot miss it! The ambient is lovely and the food is cooked to perfection! You definitely have to try the sturgeon!

I had a goulas soup, paprikás and a glass of wine. Together is was about 13.000 Ft. The food was very tasty and the amount was more than enough for my taste. Waiters were courteous and nice. I love Budapest for places like this one.

Stopped here by chance for a quick drink, ended up staying the whole evening! Both the food and drink were excellent, so was the service and cleanliness. Bar staff member was a bit moody, but other than that, faultless!

Very good food and nice staff. The industrial and Hungarian interior give the restaurant a very cool atmosphere. Overall an amazing dining experience!

Food is very good, the service is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. There's a small ethnographic museum in the underground with many objects of Hungarian culture, pottery, clothing and some daily tools. Worth paying a visit. Definitely a place to recommend! :)

Excellent place. Restaurant and ethnographic museum in one. Bonemarrow i liked the most. Mangalica (hungarian pig type) also is a must. Plus fantastic desserts.

This is the place for a fabulous dining experience. The food is superb, delicious Hungarian dishes. Wonderful attention from the waiters helping us with our choices, particularly Kristian who advised us on trying the dessert wines which were a unique and fantastic taste. An elegant restaurant with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a lovely museum to visit.

I visited this place for a Saturday night dinner and had a lovely experience. Despite not reserving a table, the staff was kind enough to accommodate us. Service was impeccable from the beginning to the end and food tasty and beautifully presented! Furthermore, the basement of the restaurant offers a fantastic museum/exhibition of traditional Hungarian pieces. I loved each minute spent in this place and I could not recommend it more!
