There is not one comparable place nearby - starts 7am: very good coffee, mature clientele (returning here almost every morning), very subtle music level (wonderful) and good food. It is closed during weekends (personally saddened - happy for the always helpful staff) and in every public holiday or occasion. Lovely (in fact, homely) shop - thank you,

You might miss it walking past it, but this small café was one of my favourite places in Budapest. Very good coffee and variety of things to eat for reasonable prices (typical to this area of the city).
Located in adorable surrounding in near distance to the Parliament building, it's great to spend some time here, especially sitting outside when there's good weather.

Very nice and cozy place, perfect to have a relaxant break. The espresso coffee is very good and cheap, Italians like me would love it! Also the carrot cake is very tasty.

Nice place to take a break or a breakfast ! Less crowded than other terraces and quiet location. The ham&cheese croissant was incredibly delicious, the orange lemonade made from real oranges and the homemade cookie very tasty ! We highly recommend this place.

very nice and friendly staff. Great coffee! We tried their Espresso and Macchiato, the price was reasonable, (290-390 HUF for a Espresso) and the quality was great. The other cafe in town, mainly in the touristic locations, charge you double and their coffee taste is disappointing.

Staff was very friendly and positive. Quality and price of the desserts, drinks were really good. Definitely recommend!

Great coffee and some variaty of cakes and croissants, good price. 2500 for both of us, around 7 GBP. Yesterday we paid the double in one of the famous coffee chains for something similar.

On a fairly quiet plaza downtown, stop for coffee and a croissant in the morning before you do anything else. You won't be disappointed.
