Tasty little breakfast spot. Run by a Russian & Spanish couple, apparently, who deliver a variety of “international” breakfast options, including near-perfect “American style” crispy bacon (I’d been on the hunt for this for a while).

They also had “RAF” coffee, a deliciously thick/ rich/ creamy twist on a latte, which I’d become addicted to while in Russia.

My fried eggs were slightly overcooked, but still fresh/ hot/ tasty. My bacon was perfect (as previously mentioned), the toast was actually toasted (not just bread or warm bread, as with many places), tho it did taste of garlic (not a huge deal, since I like garlic). The mixed green salad was a bit anemic, & seemed more for color/ garnish, but I was plenty full from the rest of the meal anyway. They apparently source all of their products locally, so you can taste the natural/ fresh quality of the ingredients.

The space is small, but cozy, with a minimal upstairs seating area as well. The staff (2 young student guys, it looked like) were very polite & welcoming, & both spoke great english, with good service. I’ve heard it can be slow to get served when it’s busy, but it was fairly empty for my late brunch & my food came quickly. Price was very fair, especially compared to much pricier meals of similar size/ quality deeper into District VII.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area (the bacon & RAF coffee alone will guarantee MY return, heh…)

One of my favorite breakfast places in Budapest ☺ It has a seating place in outdoor. The choice of menu for breakfast is really rich; French , American, Hungarian style. The staffs are really friendly. Price is medium

One of the best breakfast and brunch places in town! You gonna have different choices, breakfast sets, perfect cakes and good coffee. I'm sure if you try it once you gonna go there again!

Walked in the door and made to feel welcome immediately. Great atmosphere, mixed crowd, great service and food served by attentive staff.
One of the partners Lius was on the premises and I spent maybe 90 minutes in his company talking and putting the world to rights, and watching how he welcomed everyone and made them feel at home.
Going back again to try the Tortilla and see if it as good as mine.

As promised went back today and had a beautiful omelette and my beautiful companion had similar, great service food was so fresh and tasty and the Tortilla patata was as good as mine.
OPEN FROM 8-00 am until 14-00 pm when I was here in January so not sure about opening hours during tourist season.

A very nice local place, definitely for a slow morning when you’re not in a rush. The staff is very friendly but maybe they don’t have enough headcount so that’s why the service is usually on the slow side.
The menu has a lot of options, not fancy ones but all prices are pretty good!
Overall, I can definitely recommend this place and will be visiting many times!

Super place for a wholesome breakfast.
Order the First ( fried/ scrambled omelette with bacon n sausage + salad + sweet side ) or Second Set ( omelette with ham platter + salad + sweet side ) sweet sides like croissant or cake of the day.
Performance fav is the banana bread with flat white coffee and either of the sets.
For a smooth start to your meal you might want to try the lemonade or fresh orange juice.

Wonderful breakfast place. In fact, I think its the most unique breakfast cafe in Budapest. The food is outstanding. Super fresh, full of flavor. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesnt want to have the "typical" coffee house scone or muffin but would like a very inexpensive, top quality European breakfast and a delightful cup of aromatic and tasty coffee.

Great place and atmosphere! Owner usually there and makes the experience just perfect. Nothing better to serve you than its own owner. One of the best croissants I've ever taste.

That's a great place to have breakfast in Budapest. It's a good choice for a good price. We've ordered French toasts and breakfast set with banana bread which was so tasty. If you're staying nearby, definitely give this place a try.

Very lovely and cozy breakfast or brunch place on Szondi utca. Nearly go to there every weekend. The best place to enjoy the morning on Saturday or Sunday. Could be very busy at around 11 a.m. So make sure you either get here early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

What a catchy name for a breakfast place! Excellent omelette with ham & cheese! I had the Energetic Set 2 while a friend had the Set 1 & another had a cheese & ham sandwich with fried egg! Delicious! It was satisfying start to my day! If you are in the neighbourhood from 8am to 2pm, check it out!

A group of us have spent 2 months in europe, and finally found a GREAT breakfast spot. Friendly service, great space, and some great food. Thank you 3 Pajamas

A cafe that feels very homely—as if your older brother and sister were making you breakfast (never had siblings, let's call it an imaginary scenario a'la American movie about the idealised 50s or 60s).

The coffee was good, the pancakes were cute, the menu has several vegetarian options—not so sure about vegan.

Bonus points: in spite of a "warning" on the menu that preparing food might take a while, the service was very fast (on a Sunday).

The most charming breakfast place for the end of my BudaPest visit! Service was kind and had excellent english, atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Mimosas are prepared from the freshly pressed juice, coffee is of high qulaity. All food was just delicious, I have to sing odes to local sourdough bread, which was just excellent. With the location and quality the price was very cheap
