Food is excellent quality although portions on the small side. Staff is friendly and attentive. Price quality is very good. Recommend.

Fantastic location. Great service, pizzeria with descent atmosphere, very cosy. Staff friendly and approachable. Delicious pizza on thin crust with some of best tasty toppings. Fairly priced. Definitely one of places to kill your pizza carvings without regrets.

Very cozy resturant very central in Budapest.
We started with pancakes & grinded meat with tomato sauce...that was one of the best things we had ever tasted. The sauce really put it all together. Excellent! We had the two different duck dishes on the menu. My wife now rate this dish the best she has ever had in a resturant. For me it was really up there with the top 5. For dessert my wife had the Tiramisu. I had the pancakes with cheese filling which was...interesting. Quite strong in flavour..enough to make me grin...yet not bad. Kind of reminded me of when i ate olives for the first time...did not hate it...and did not love it..but still liked it. Service was prompt and swift. Food also. The waiters were friendly and very service minded. The price was 1/3rd of what we ate at a different resturant the day before. Perfect sized portions when you had starter, main course and dessert. Only us and another couple in there when we came in...the we noticed almost all tables were reserved. By the time we left the place was packed. Good job La Botte! You made the highlight on my wife's birthday!

Great pizza. The 0.4 m pizza is a bit too much for 1 people but you must try.

Delicious Hungarian and Italian dishes when you have a group who can’t decide. In the heart of Váci utca with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our meal was further enhanced by friendly, attentive, but unrushed service. Open late too.

Excellent italian restaurant. Portition a little small but home wine ok and good olive oil!

4 of us had lunch at this place. We split a large pizza (0.7meter!) between us and couldn't finish it. The pizza was simple but tasted fantastic. Beer was local and was very good. Pricing is very reasonable. Staff all spoke English (we also heard one speaking french) and very friendly, and the service was excellent. We ate outside but they also have a fairly large interior area. While not a high-end restaurant it certainly has a wide variety of very good dishes (mostly itialian). Highly recommended and a great value for money. I'd definitely come back here again.

Glorious food. Went back a second time within 3 days, as was so good first time around. About £6 a pizza for 1. Well cooked, arrived swiftly (within 10 minutes of order) staff polite and attentive but not over bearing. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely restaurant with freshly cooked food. They will even repair your meal without salt if asked. It's proper Italian food, but in Hungary. The staff are knowledge, professional and polite.
I love this restaurant and they have the best hot chocolate drink outside of Milan.

We tried their pizzas. And they were baked for perfection. You can feel on the taste that They use very good quality ingredients. Me my wife and my daughter we loved it.

Friendly service and excellent food. What more could you want? The goulash soup was tasty and contained good portions of carrots, potatoes, and beef. My husband had the spaghetti Bolognese and it was also well done. Try this place!

The best pizza I ever had was in this restaurant! Absolutely scrumptious! Waiters were very nice and helpful, overall it's a great Italian restaurant. I recommend it to everyone who visits Budapest

Usually I avoid restaurants on main tourist arteries but due to a lack of time and a roaring stomach, we went to La Botte and did not regret it. My son's pizza was delicious and looked mouth-watering. My guest had the wild boar stew, tasty, savory, copious and authentic and I had the Angus Beef steak with spinach. I am very picky with steaks and only comment when I find them to my taste.
It was perfectly cooked (medium-rare but I admit having ordered rare knowing that Hungarians cook the meat a tad more than elsewhere), very tender and tasty served with coarse salt and a pepper sauce. Delicious.
We paid €70 for all that with 2 beers, 2 ciders, 1 apple juice and 4 palinka. Definitely not the cheapest in Budapest but it was a great experience, isn't that essential?
