Szeged Restaurant

Absolutely loved our dining experience here. We visited after going to the Gellert thermal pools which are just around the corner. Service was excellent, food was traditional and absolutely delicious. Paprikash, “Hortobágy” style pancakes and the stuffed cabbage recommended. Prices are good and food quick. Although only in Budapest for the weekend, our favourite meal by far. Will definitely return when we come back to Budapest.

This restaurant has a great authentic Hungarian atmosphere & great tasting food! During the time of our visit, there was a live band and dancers performing traditional Hungarian dances wearing traditional clothes - what a great experience! The staff is very friendly and speak German as well as English. The food is hearty and delicious! Thanks for your hospitality and the great time!

This restaurant was a very nice discovery on our first day in Budapest, and we returned there on purpose once more.
The cuisine is Hungarian, the service is efficient, our waiter was very nice with us, made some jokes, but was not intrusive. He recognized us the second time.
The food was good, perfect of you was to taste local cuisine and not break the bank.
I had pork ribs and a chicken paprikas

Tasty Hungary traditional food with a good price. Atmosphere was nice and pleasant. I had an enjoyable time here right after the bath visiting. Service was very good too!

Incredible, tasty goulash soup and ratatouille! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, great service from the waiters. We especially enjoyed the breakout of music from the musicians, who added massively to the atmosphere and made the experience extremely memorable! Thank you!

Perfect restaurant!
The owner is a really welcoming person and he let you feel like at your home.
Food is delicious, delicate, light, traditional (not so spicy) but maybe also innovative because I have tried a version of goulash that I have never tried and seen before. The beef and the tomato souce were so amazing and soft (I suppose cooked for many hours like we still use to on South Italy with the typical ragù).
The prices dishes are honest and right (also cheaper than many restaurants around).
In addition to the tasty food, sometime you can enjoy also of the traditional music that they let play at the restaurant by professional musicians.
Really nice experience in Buda of Budapest.

Very cozy, local, traditional restaurant in Budapest. Nice warm atmosphere, very friendly and quick staff. Must visit if you're around and get away from the touristic restaurants.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant!! Great authentic Hungarian food and amazing music made our evening magical. We had a problem with one of our meals and the waiter handled it professionally and made it right immediately, no hassle and no questions asked - just did what you would expect in a great restaurant, but not something you always get!! First rate service made the experience special. I highly recommend this place.

So far, the best beef stew and spaetzle I’ve had in all of Budapest! The meat was fall-apart tender, the seasonings were spot on and the spaetzle were just ever-so-slightly al dente. Paired perfectly with a robust glass of “Bull’s Blood”.

Taste of Hungary, traditional meals, everything was excellent, starting with Palinka (plums, strawberry and cherry).I will recommend!

Good food and entertainment

Really cozy place with big portions. If you're looking for the authentic cousine with so much taste you're at the right place. I loved the calm atmosphere and staff was very kind.

Great food. Saturday nights feature traditional Hungarian music and dance. With some familiar favorites added in it provides an entertaining evening.

The most delicious food in Hungary. Awesome traditional food, hard working staff and not too expensive even for Budapest

We enjoyed a lot having lunch there. Food is tasty, very traditional and their Goulash is amazing.

Oh! And the waitress is very nice and helpful
