It is a really nice place with a delicious food. If you are looking for a small, non turistic, familly restaurant, thats the place to go. Price performance 10/10 :)

Came by to eat something after arriving to Budapest, and we ended up very satisfied. It was too bad we came at the very end of the day, so there was no time to enjoy more, but it was really good.
Food was delicious, staff very pleasant, atmosphere relaxing, beer cold :-)
Well be sure to drop by during the day, to taste their daily menus, sweets and enjoy nice weather in the garden.

Nice little restaurant with tasty Hungarian cuisine. Had a comprehensive English menu and some historical decorations indoor. Waiters were quite friendly and we adored the beautiful garden they have there.

We like to sit in to eat lunch sometimes. The food is really good, the staff is always nice and helpful. I can recommend the daily lunch menu. And the terrace also has a good vibe when the weather is good.

Such a gem! The garlic soup alone was worth the trip. We had a delicious lunch at this cozy restaurant. The service is as lovely as the food. Highly recommended!

An undoubtedly retro place, with well executed rustic dishes reminiscent of the days that would make most of our parents nostalgic, and an atmosphere to match.
This coupled with conventionally good service and beyond reasonable pricing makes this restaurant a must visit.

Small, hidden, humble, very off-mainstream but one of the best meals I had in Budapest. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, service is friendly and attentive but not in your face. Place is cosY and perhaps 15 tables only so you better book ahead. Parking is ample. On weekdays they have a simple menu available as well for a much cheaper price.

Whenever I have guests from foreign countries and I want to show them real Hungarian food in lovely atmosphere I bring my guests to Erzsi mama. First they wonder why I bring them to the end of the world but not any more once we finished. Now I am happy to live not so far away and have home office so that I can more often take a menu.

Absolutely authentic, perfect kitchen! Very-very good food, nice serving, kind staff... :) They have a menu option, if you want try a real hungarian meal (soup + main course + dessert). Very delicious every meal, what they make! :) Highly recommended!!! :)))

You want excellent Hungarian food made locally as almost at home, then go to Erzsi Mama's and check them out - especially from mid-spring to late fall when they open the outdoor tables! Do not miss the Babgulyás or the Túrógombóc if they have them as daily special. Same applies to "Bodzaszörp" (elderflower drink)... :) Enjoy.

Great place! The restaurant itself is small, nonetheless it is cosy. It is full with old/antique stuff. If you are looking for a nostalgic place, this is a good choice for it. The waiter is kind and friendly. Portion is decent as well.

Friendly and cozy atmosphere, excellent prices and huge portions, if you are looking for an excellent Hungarian restaurant, this one is a must.

Always the same, reliable, delicious food with daily menu possibility. A bit small place, but in good wheather the terrace is a great advantage. We like it very much.
