Cafe Frei

I've been in a lot of coffee houses, but this one is outstanding! The atmosphere, the comfortable seats. The crew members are very polite and patient, and the cake & coffee are out of this world.
I highly recommend this café!

A sugarfree gahwa with a sugarfree, poppyseed-cherry cake? Still a unique thing among popular (non-Arabic/Persian ofc.) cafés like Starbucks.

I really love the wide range of tasteful coffees and smoothies. They made a really good selection. The sweets as well unique.
The cafe is in a Libri book store - i liked this concept.

I love cafe Frei and every time I visit Budapest, it is one of my highlights! I love the large variety of coffee's, the funky interior and the friendly staff.

This place is awesome. Great café, huge selection. No wifi, you just buy your book in the bookshop, then sit down and read. Excellent, highly recommended.

Cozy, authentic café atmosphere, heavenly coffee creations and super nice crew. And you just definitely don't want to miss this month's coffee adventure: Sacher cake coffee. Perfect for Sunday afternoons!

Cheap, but the drinks taste great! Amazing plave, I recommand it to everyone, who likes a nice coffee!

Usual Cafe Frei experience, just like anywhere else

Great teas, good value, they even have a paleolithic cookie.

Cafe Frei I cheaper than Starbucks but it's so much better. The selection of coffees are much wider and they are more delicious. They aren't sugar pumped water with a slight hint of coffee. The place is also nice because it's inside a bookstore so the atmosphere is a given. The only downside is that it's usually crowded so it's hard to find a place to sit.

The best place to have a coffee and spend some quality time with your closes. They offer different types of coffees and all of them are much more tasty than any brandy coffee. My favorite coffee is “Tobacco coffee”

A cosy little cafe, they have an extensive selection of internationally themed coffees (most of them sweet) with all kinds of non-dairy coffees. They are reasonably priced given how special the drinks are. They also have a cake selection but they always run out of some towards the end of the day. They're located in a bookstore so it's a perfect place to sit down and read something when it's not too crowded.

Cheap and nice coffee in a good environment, inside a book store (Libri on the 1st floor). Waiting times can be a bit long, but worth the wait, as it is better in every other aspects than the big chains!

You get very good value for money and an extremely consistent product from this chain of cafés. I love that you can really have an international coffee experience here and the cakes choices are extensive. I think it's great there is a paleo option for cakes. My next wish is that they will offer a low-carb cake to fit into my keto lifestyle. The coffee is always awesome and staff are fast, friendly and speak English.

My favourite café in Hungary. They have the best coffee selection and for much better price than other competitors (e.g. Starbucks).

I can't recommend it, because this is my favorite place, but usually I can't take a sit, so full of people!!!!
