Korhely Faloda & Daloda

The duck dish was incredibly good! I highly recommend. I don’t remember the name of the dessert, but was also very good.
However, my bf asked for the goulash and he said that the beef was a bit dry.
Looks like a regular chocolate mousse but it is a completely different thing.
Amazing ratio price-quality and really nice service.

Stumbled across this fantastic restaurant on our first night in Budapest.
Blown away by their traditional Hungarian goulash with potato scones.
The giant schnitzel was great.
The traditional desserts were the the real winners, as recommended by the waiters.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with staff who were incredibly helpful and attentive. Great sense of humours and accommodating with recommendations for food and wine pairings.

Really good service.
We had a traditional Hungarian beef stew (one with lactose, the other one lactose free). Really good.

I came back after a few months and I had the best salmon and sweet potatoes fries. My colleague had the risotto and really enjoyed it.
I didn’t like the service this last time, I found the two waiters we had that night quite rude. The live music was so loud it was really had to have a conversation. Intried to sit outside in the terrace and they told me I couldn’t in a really bad way because the terrace closed at 10pm and it was 9.10 pm.

One of my friends recommended this restaurant, and I have to say we were not disappointed. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was amazing too - so amazing that even my fussy, foreign husband completed a 3 course Hungarian meal (no crumbs left). Good wine selection. We will definitely back next time!

Very lovely place. The live music played by the girl and the guitar really made the whole place even better.
I had the cordon bleu speciality - Breaded, rolled pork chop, stuffed with ewe’s cheese and ham, fried beetroot, steak potato - and my wife had Pork tenderloin „Korhely-style” - Tenderloin, bacon, mushrooms, cheese, potato rösti, baked in the oven with cream cheese - both portions were very delicious and nourishing. We haven’t ate almost anything that day, but after just one dish we barely could move 😂 amazing flavors.
The waiter was also very funny and most kind to recommend us the best dishes.
And the whole staff, because even though we didn’t had a reservation they made room for us.

We originally intended to stop by for some traditional goulash but after some great recommendations from our waiter Erik we ended up ordering different dishes paired with some great wine and culminated the night with some shots of unicum. The food was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. Definitely give it a try if you're ever in the neighborhood.

It was a memorable experience. When visiting Budapest, this is a must for Hungarian food. Our waiter Roland went above and beyond and gave us the best recommendations. Sampler is a must and for dessert, the apple caramel cake is to die for. Definitely, this is now my favorite in Budapest and will definitely come back when visiting this city.

We went here for dinner after seeing so many positive reviews and indeed they were true. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and made you feel welcome. If we come back to Budapest we make sure we visit again

Tasty food, kind, efficient service.
It wasn't crowded when I was there, and I still got food from the daily menu.
I haven't had any problems neither with staff, nor with the food. Reasonable prices for the weekly menu, but a la carte menu is also available all the time.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, we were greeted politely and seated quickly having no prior reservation. We were impressed with the speed and attentiveness of the staff. For starters we opted for the chicken broth with noodles as light appetiser before the main. For the main I ordered the pork knuckle and my partner went for the traditional Hungarian goulash, both of us cleared our plates as the food was exceptionally tasty. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a hearty traditional meal. Thank you to the staff for their fantastic service and we hope to visit again in the future!

The most amazing Hungarian dining experience! Fantastic, hearty, traditional food served in a comfortable setting with lots of great Hungarian wines to sample too. Our waiter Erik was incredibly knowledgeable in his recommendations and gave us fantastic service all evening. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when in Budapest.

Korhely is located on the delightful pedestrian Liszt Ferenc Ter, which makes enjoying a meal on their terrace an excellent experience. In addition to the outside seating, there is also a spacious indoor seating area. They offer a Napi Menu or Lunch special that changes weekly. For a reasonable price you receive a starter and main course. Desert can be added for a small fee. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully plated. Wait staff is efficient, friendly and helpful.

The food is so delicious and worth the money. The guy Erik suggested some good dishes and all were amazing. The ambience and service are incredible.

Great spot for a nice dinner with plenty of Hungarian meals on the menu. I’ve ordered galushki and a cherry beer, both of which were tasty. The waiter Erik was very friendly and professional. Would surely come again if I’m back to Budapest.

Service is down to earth and kind. Rare find in the center of Budapest.

We love this place! The goulash wast tasty and the atmosphere was great and the waiter Tomi was very helpful he spoke perfect English and recomended us some dishes. He even recomended us sightseeing places in Budapesht since it was our first day. All in all 5/5!
