Classic and elegant all at once, a place of ashkenaz kitchen at its finest, even with sophisticated dishes (patè, smoked beef). A very good and glatt kosher restaurant.

Best kosher restaurant in Budapest. Real touch of Hungarian kosher food. Definitely an experience. The food was delicious and the hechsher is amazing.

The highest quality of Jewish Glatt Kosher cuisine. Matzo balls soup and veal schnitzel to die for. Excellent service in a peaceful and quiet interior. Wonderful culinary experience.

The absolutely authentic heimishe fare your Hungarian grandmother would cook to you. You'll remember your childhood days and love it. Our children love every bit of it even if some of the french fries are still only half cooked. In any event it's a great experience every time (if you steer clear of the cholent/solet). The staff and other patrons are very friendly and forthcoming even though some speak neither Hebrew nor English (I used my broken Hungarian). Prices are very reasonable.
Bottom line: If you know what to expect, you'll love it. Guaranteed.

We went here for shabbat dinner which included plenty of food and wonderful service. It does require prepayment before on Friday before 2pm, and then waiting until the Rabbi comes to pour the wine. After that it was a wonderful meal with plenty of food and drinks and great service. It wasn't too loud even though most tables were full and we were able to have nice conversation also. Thank you for making my parents visit very nice

It is a nice kosher restaurant. They serve fishes, chicken and meat. They also make catering for groups. I had they catering with group in hotel every day breakfast an lunch for a week. In my last day in Budapest, I had full meal in a place : gulash, chicken, desert before flight. It was very satisfaing, i didn't need nothing till got home. The service was lovely, they make sure that i had all my orders.

We stopped by at this restaurant on the way to the airport. It was a bit hard to find but worth it. The staff was very friendly and polite, the food was well priced and really good. We visited on Sukkas and they had a spacious, beautiful sukkah. I would definitely visit this place again.

This place is a gem tucked away in the Jewish quarter. The service was great and efficient. Most importantly the server was friendly which we didn't experience in other restaurants. We ordered a few different dishes (some of which the waiter recommended). Each dish arrived quickly but was cooked beautifully. The food was tasty and and authentic.

I went there because I love tasting Jewish/kosher cuisine. I was a bit dubious, as many reviews I had read highlighted the general rude behaviour of the staff. I won't say they were false (how could I factcheck that), but my experience was completely the opposite. The waitress that served me was very kind and smiling, I felt comfortable for the whole hour I spent there. Besides, food was amazing, and rather cheap for place that is so central. Honestly, I'd warmly recommend this restaurant to whoever fancies eating yummy kosher food at affordable prices.

I went with my girlfriend to this restaurant under recommendation of an Hungarian Jew for the best kosher restaurant in Budapest. I need to say, we weren't disappointed of the expectations. The service was very good, the staff was honest and helpful to us that do not know Hungarian kitchen that well by recommending us 2 very good dishes that we splitted. The food was high quality and well presented with good portions, and you could feel the tradition of real Hungarian cuisine. The place was very warm and cozy while still staying distinguished. The prices were pretty low for a kosher restaurant compared to what I am used to which surprised me quite a lot, usually these type of restaurant tend to be on the expensive side (reasonably, considering the expensive meat and ingredients they pick) If you are looking for a kosher meat restaurant with Hungarian cuisine In Budapest I highly recommend this one.

Very good place. Good food, affordable prices. It is not fancy but very authentic heimish Hungarian grandmother food :) Friendly waiters (they cared a lot for us and even had a little present for our small daughter), clean restaurant and good food. And no, it is not an "Israeli" restaurant (though they have some Israeli dishes but I would avoid them, it is like eating Chinese food outside of China) but a kosher Hungarian restaurant.

We had lunch at this restaurant - some time ago now, yet we both remember it really well. Very "homely" dishes, really tasty, good portions, no "nonsense", absolutely great place and their prices are more than reasonable. We will definitely be back!

We ate the Shabbes meals at Hannah, it reminded me from home. The food was delicious just like the buba, fresh and heimish. The pastries, deserts, everything was really good.
